PJ's Coffee

It was decent. A little
More messy than was comfortable but the matcha drink that I got was good. Parking can be a little questionable in down town silver spring, but I got lucky and was able park at a free meter when I went.

A wonderful New Orleans coffee shop. Smooth, strong (dark roast) coffee, paired nicely with a delicious beignet. Great morning starter. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Need one in my home town.

I’ve been on the hunt for good (I’d have even settle for decent) beignets in the DMV and every place that I’ve tried so far has been TERRIBLE. I don’t know why it’s so hard for places here to get beignets right… but anyway, today changed all that when I decided to try PJs. I got a cafe latte and an order of beignets and both are PERFECTION. Finally, I can rest easy knowing that my mission is complete.

Also, the baristas were both very sweet! I’ll definitely be back more often.

First time trying this place and service is TERRIBLE. It's 2pm on a Wednesday, rainy day with only two customers sitting in the store. Three female employees all just standing around.

I'm literally standing at the register while the girl on the left side of the pic was on the other side of the register standing there. I'm the ONLY customer waiting to get served. None of them acknowledged my presence or asked was I ready to order. It took me to ask them are they ready to take my order in which the girl on the right side of the picture goes "oh I thought you were looking at the menu".

THEN the other girl finally asks how can I help you. And to hear them conversing among themselves about how slow the day was going. Terrible way to conduct business. Tighten up ladies, yall made this business look BAD 👎

That will be my first and last time going here.

Very quiet. Iced American super diluted despite my saying to add less water. Parking difficult. Won't return.

Hands down the best coffee shop in Downtown Silver Spring. The coffee is great. Nice and warm to sooth your soul. Beignets are warm, fluffy and super powder. Had them once and craved them ever since. They are sinful.

But what really did me in to say they have the best coffee shop in town, was the proprietor of the establishment (I do not recall her name) she was so warm, friendly and inviting. We chitchatted for a couple of minutes talking about our day. She was so vibrant and genuinely interested in what I had to say that I've been going to PJ's at least twice a week.

Would recommend it to all.

Cozy and has delicious coffee! I got the mocha latte with oat milk and it’s exactly what I wanted on this rainy day.

I come here almost every weekend for coffee. I love the seasonal drinks, especially the southern wedding cake and banana foster flavors. I also like they change up there cold brews. Great customer service and always a perfect way to treat myself.

The beignets are so good!! Very nice staff and the orders are always quick.

Great coffee shop! I've had extremely friendly service every time, and there are a wide variety of options for any coffee lover out there
