Nice small size family oriented kind of spot.
I ordered the chai tea latte it was very good!
The French toast was very good! It’s coated with cinnamon sugar giving them a churro feel. But they were moist and flavored well.
The serving was pretty small, so if you’re hungry order two servings! The price wasn’t too bad.
The bacon was good, ask for it crispy!

The Route 11 bagged chips were better than the Salmon Sandwich. Extremely overpriced for not quality food. They managed to even dry out the pickle by the time it came out the second time with the right order it was as stiff as a ruler

I discovered this place on accident when I was looking for the bar next door. The ambience seemed really nice so we decided to go back for dinner. Service was great, lots of good happy hour options, delicious arepas and empanadas, and a very chill and cute environment. Will definitely be going back!

Love this place!
The service is unrivaled. The food is also really good.
I assumed it was just a cute little coffee shop/bakery, but it’s so much more.
They have live music on some evenings, and they have a bar area for after work.

Got heuvos rancheros with pulled pork and carne asada arepa! The heuvos rancheros was pretty good with the distribution of meat and egg/cheese and flavorful. The arepa was okay imo (could use more cabbage or something)

A diverse many and stuff welcoming to all. They also offer live music, I will definitely go again and check it out.

Really solid, cool place with nice vibes! This place is definitely a mixture of coffee shop, bar, restaurant and bakery. In some ways, I think this is a pro, and in other ways, a possible con, just because it brings away the focus from doing one thing super well. However, I will definitely give Java their props because I had a nice cup of coffee, as well as some pretty delicious tacos.
I’ll be honest, the chicken tacos surprised me - they had a lot more depth of flavor than I expected. That chicken was cooked and spiced to perfection. Only complaint for me was the tacos were a bit overstuffed with chicken.
For coffee, I tried the Hor-chai-tea and added an espresso shot. Reminded me of a dirty chai, which is the kind of vibe I was going for. Overall a good latte, however I wasn’t quite feeling the horchata/chai mixture. I think I’d go for one or the other personally since they are so similar, the flavors tend to blend too much.
Overall - cool place with nice, casual vibes. You can sit down or take out and lots of outdoor or partial outdoor seating. They have breakfast/brunch as well as happy hour and dinner menus. Didn’t get a chance to try the bakery items, but they looked pretty delicious as well. Definitely would recommend giving this restaurant a stop!

Cool place to go for breakfast. They have outdoor seating that’s covered and a little stage. Have not been there at night but plan to comeback. Got busier as the morning went on but the staff were attentive and nice. Commuted from Arlington and will be back soon.
