TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The food is great if willing to be talked down to,
Go to try it out but don't return after that.
I recommend the golden milk and their bengets.
The avocado toast is 'good' but overpriced. The french toast is also very 'good' but overpriced.
They're only making it because they serve options that you don't find in the North Bethesda area.

Wow! Great coffee and food choices. Popular spot on weekends for sure. Tight parking in the lot behind the restaurant, but plenty of street parking. Once you are familiar with the parking options you will see that parking is not an issue. Seating could be an issue when it gets very busy. There are outdoor tables with some cover and heat lamps. That helps on chilly days, but if it is 30 degrees outside you will not want to be outside. Arrive early and wait a little bit for a table. It's worth the wait. Very comfortable inside. The menu options for breakfast, brunch, and lunch are great. Enjoy!

This is a great coffee shop. I've eaten food there too and its good. But if you are looking for a place to get some work done and is in a great setting, this is it. You have the choice of either indoor or outdoor seating. It is super comfortable. The service is good. The coffee is great. If you are in the area, and need a place to work, or read over a coffee or a sandwich, this is a great option.

I purchased the lox bagel, lemon crunch croissant, and Chai tea latte and everything was really great! Everyone was pleasant. Definitely coming back.

I just don't get the hype of this place. I've been here twice now and the coffee is just ok and food is mid with small portions. It looks like it should be a nice sit down for breakfast place but the food is more grab-and-go in style, portions, and quality? Overall I really wanted to like this location but feel conflicted. Staff and service experience was positive.

Not a fan of their hot chocolate but they have good selection of pastries.

I visit Java Nation often, love the coffee and food. My review is based off of my experience with the owner.
I have been here often and know the staff they are great…
but this day she didn’t want to serve my friend a pitcher of beer as I was parking my car and said he had to wait until I came inside. And she said we had to order food with our beer. I did not feel welcomed and am disappointed in the customer service. This is usually our place to wind down after a day of work, which this happened after a long day of work for us.

Nice place for coffee, food and passing the time with friends. Service can be very slow sometimes, but usually is fine. The new check out process adds more time to an already slow check out. It also makes it necessary to leave a tip which is very presumptuous on the part of the restaurant.

I me a couple of friends for dinner and we had a marvelous time. The food was excellent. I loved the lemon Raspberry cake. My only concern was the cold air blowing up from the outside room up into the indoor area.

Super cute place with good food. The only downside is they put a 90min limit on wifi which I think is against the idea of a coffeeshop since historically coffeeshop are used the most by students and ppl studying. Also for the cost of the food... you are spending $15-20 or more (food +coffee) you would think you there should be some exception. Unfortunately means I won’t be using this place as much as I would have liked
