Probably one of the best kept secrets in Allegany County. This food and their bakery items and their to go cooler items are so good I would argue that it’s fancy. We actually had them make our wedding cake because the cheesecake is so phenomenal here. It seems like the menu just keeps getting better and then yesterday they had items in their grab and go cooler that you would never find anywhere. Bang bang shrimp, bloody Mary deviled eggs, wasabi chicken wraps, sweet hot chicken, the list goes on and on.
They have their usual go to is like the spicy chicken wrap or the Reuben on their menu and then occasionally you will find a gem when they have a special bisque soup or a new burger they are trying. Don’t pass this place up!!

This is the perfect place to stop on a road trip the breakfast Sandwiches are to die for and the NY Cheesecake is out of this world. How ever with that being said the staff was horrible and very unpleasant I tryed to ask all about this fabulous place all it seemed to do was Irritate her even witht that this place is a 5 star in my book its like a gastaion had a baby with a high end Cafe. My photo dose not do it justice the inside is ao beautiful but I didnt take a photo you will have to stop in and see it for yourself :)

0/10 do not recommend. We stopped here on our way to Ohio. Went to wipe dog drool off the car door and throw it in the trash can and the person at the register comes out (older gentleman) and yells at us to move our car so we don’t block the pumps. It’s freaking 3AM we are the only ones on the road and the ONLY ones at this gas station at the time. Then he stands there until we move our car.

My fifth visit. My brother informed me of the Oak Barrel Cafe a year ago. I made the stop looking for Ring Liver Pudding--to no avail.
Thought to buy another package of the delicious Jerky but found it overly expensive--more expensive than in the past. The Trial Mix was also higher in price, but it is the best. Perfect portions of nuts, chocolate, and raisins. It is the absolute best and fresh. I will purchase it without hesitation or concern for price--every time.
I made my purchase--trial mix, soda, and a freshly made cinnamon roll. I nibbled at the trial mix for the next one hundred miles home. The roll had an approvingly large amount of icing that I did not want to interfere with my driving.
I returned home, unpacked, and immediately went for that delicious looking cinnamon roll. I was not impressed! Dry and lacked cinnamon. I was disappointed and surprised. Everything I've had from this Cafe was deliciously tasty--pasta salad, cold sandwich, jerky, trial mix, pickled eggs, microbrew beer--everything.
The cinnamon roll looked delicious, but does not deserve the large outpost display. Never again for it! But always Oak Barrel Cafe.

There is cute bakery and breakfast / lunch place at the gas station! Great view, friendly service. Purchase local goods. Wine, moonshine, sauces, jams and baked goods.

I've had about 4 different kinds of fries from this place. You could order the same sandwich every single time and you never know what to expect.
Good food, but for the price it needs consistency.

We stopped off for a bite to eat and found the food to be delicious! They were clearly a little understaffed, so we had to wait a little, but it was worth the wait. We also loved the assortment of local goods sold and the cute outdoor patio.
