This is magnificent place that must be visited! The prepared/made to order food is great! The pre-packaged deserts are a MUST buy and I always skip deserts. They serve breakfast and lunch and it's great, even for fellow pesca/vegetarians. :). The cafe also has all kinds of typical convenient store finds as well as packaged preserves, etc. Visit this place! It's great!

This place was the best, it was a travel day for my wife and I, so it was amazing when we found a place to sit and have some hot breakfast and coffee. But it was so much more then a breakfast stop. It was like a full rest stop for us. Got to use the restrooms along with getting some small things from the convenience store and of course topped off the fuel tank before we got back on our journey. Great easy stop with friendly people. And my 20 foot rv fit in the parking lot with out a problem. If I find myself through that way again I’ll definitely stop in.

We been here before. Boy I love the Improvement spirit we stopped by for gas and rest. I love the ambience I love the food especially the different liquor selections of vodka and whiskey.

We stopped at the gas station to use the bathroom and discovered a great little store. The cafe was closed, but we bought a delicious slice of caramel apple cheesecake from the case. Next time we're driving through this way, we'll make a point of stopping again.

If I had to pick my favorite place to eat/ get cheesecake, The Oak Barrel is definitely the top on my list. We drive an hour almost every two weeks to stop here. The staff is great and everytime we stop in they have so many variety’s of cheesecake & cakes. Along with homemade ice cream. They also have a unique menu for lunch and supper options that are to die for!

Great little café! Don't let the fact that it's attached to a gas station deter you. Sandwiches were yummy, fries fresh & crisp, & the potato salad ROCKED! They have gluten free options!!!!! The dog friendly courtyard is cute & there are a variety of seating options. It's far enough off the freeway that there's not a lot of noise, & the fence protects from the comings & finds of gas station traffic. Desserts like incredible, but we didn't try them (seemed a bit pricy). Overall, exactly what we needed. Skip BuddyLou's & come here instead.

Super cute find while traveling!!! I loved this little store. Pleasant staff and a great variety of unique items. They had an incredible menu but we had just ate. We did take home a handmade wooden motorcycle

I stopped for fuel at their station and filled up. I ordered a turkey bacon sandwich on wheat as it was lunch time. I ordered it to go and then bought baked goods for my family who were waiting for me at home in Ohio. A customer was telling his wife how good the cheesecake was. Of course I bought some, it's my wife's favorite.
My sandwich was delicious. Plenty of turkey and bacon, a lot of lettuce and the tomatoes tasted fresh. It was served warm and I really enjoyed it.
I just tried the cheesecake and it is very good. I bought the cherry cheesecake for my wife and tuxedo for me. The cheesecake is cut square and has some weight to it! There were a lot of cherries on my wife's. The chocolate topping on mine was the bomb!
I bought canoli for my son and two large cinnamon rolls for my daughter and son in law. They are saving their rolls for breakfast. The rolls smelled wanderful. The food is not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. Definitely will stop again. Next time I will sit in the dining area and take my time. I need to try their Flatbread pizza.

We use to love this spot on our trip west on I-68. We always stopped for their desserts. We were surprised to see how much of a price jump there was since our last visit in November 2022.
