Wow! What a spot. I was recommended here by a local and decided to give it a try since I was in the area. I gotta say, the food was 10/10! No doubt. Spoke w the employee and simply asked about their famous options. We went w the Kickin' chicken wrap, and a cheese steak, and I gotta give it to the cheese steak, it was top notch! Would definitely be returning.

Don’t let the road side gas station fool you! This place is so great! Friendliest staff, most amazing homemade food and moonshine, jams and wines! The inside of the restaurant is so adorable and the food was amazing! Bought baked goods to go and next time we are out this way, will definitely be going back! Incredible! You need to stop by! The convenience store has a great selection of stuff, a lot of local products too!
The cafe has incredible food. I had the Mushroom and Onion Melt and it was delicious, my brother had the Reuben, my mom had the Shrimp Po Boy and they both loved it! The bakery foods are absolutely delicious! We got the Lemonies and they taste incredible. We got some of the cheesecake and can't wait to eat it later, they're huge!
I will absolutely be coming back here and encourage you to come here too!

One very unique stop for a road trip. They have a great variety of local products. All the cakes and baked products are delicious. Incredible the different flavors of moonshine they offer. There is a convenient store and a restaurant on the side.

very delicious food, if you stop by make sure to leave room for dessert. the black forest cheesecake was delicious and had a large portion size. the drinks are very good, i tried the lemonade and the sweet tea and they were both delicious.

The store was well packed with so many good options, fresh and mass produce, I ordered the Reuben sandwich, and it was just so tasty, the sauerkraut was just the right sour. And the corned beef was cut thin and layered liberally, with a soft and easy to eat texture.

So far, the chicken cordon bleu sandwich is the best one we’ve had here. Like others have said, the food is appetizing to look at but leans towards the bland side. The breads they use don’t seem very hearty for some of the fillings they use. Especially for hot sandwiches. But they still taste better than most anything you can get at a Sheetz and so on.

Their desserts are impressive to look at. The serving size for one cherry topped cheesecake could easily feed three adults. But like most American baked goods, heavy on the sugar. It’s like you’re crunching sugar with each bite—kind of like a Texas sweet tea with each sip. And that’s not just for the cheesecake but any of the cakes and brownies they sell.

The place is clean and the staff are nice enough. But most times, they just kind of look like they are so over it, even if it’s purely a straightforward transaction. I get it, but then again, I kind of don’t. So don’t expect exceptional customer service unless you are a local. Just order your food and leave.

Definitely worth a stop for a bite to eat, food quality and service much greater than anything near by. Surprising for what appears to merely be a gas station. Highly recommend the reuben, it is the best I've ever had. The Surf and Turf burger is incredibly tasty, well worth the cost.
The pies and other deserts appear to be too pricey at first glance, but they're worth it. Fresh and flavorful.

Oak Barrel Cafe was an excellent stop on the way home. Nice change from fast food when you are on the road. Don’t let the fact that it is attached to a gas station deter you from a visit.

This place was a gem to find after a long day of road tripping. Delicious fresh real food, not fast foody. Also a really unique shop/convenience store attached to the restaurant with baked goods, beverages, little souvenirs and also the usuals you find at a convenience store. Stop here!
