Good Ethiopian coffee. The food is tasty. Service is quick. The staff take the time to know the frequent customers by sight and what the customer usually order. Fantastic customer service.

I have been getting coffee here for over a year, and I keep coming back for more. The staff is so friendly and helpful, I almost feel like they are family.

A fine little coffee shop to go for breakfast and lunch. The place is well managed and the staff are quite friendly. I love the idea that you can seat inside or outside if it's a beautiful day outside.

Chai latte is exquisite! Super delicious drinks and cozy cafe for sitting and reading

I offered to take my 30 year old daughter to breakfast on Wednesday, January 31. She chose Sidamo Coffee shop. We both had coffee there before, but not any food. She's a vegetarian so she ordered the vegie breakfast sandwich and liked it. I ordered the egg, cheese, and bacon muffin. It was squashed flat by a panini machine. It was dry and barely warm. Every small table was by a window bathed in glaring sunlight. We both had headaches, she from a concussion and I from an eye surgery two weeks ago, so we picked seats at the counter by the espresso machine. That was very noisy most of the time we were there. I asked the lady behind the bar if they had Mocha Java coffee. She said no, because they only had coffee from her country. I don't know what country she was from. I ordered the first coffee on the menu chalkboard on the wall, which was latte capuccino. It was unremarkable. My daughter liked her raspberry coffee beverage. We finished and left quickly. A better choice for breakfast would have been the familiar and reliably tasty and inexpensive McDonald's or Dunkin donuts, no doubt.

What a great find! The coffee here is amazing, and I love that they have vegan options. I had the vegan breakfast bagel with hummus, avocado, tomato and lettuce, and it was perfection.

I hate to judge a place by just one visit, but this was just 'ok'. The drip coffee was very good, but my breve latte was not prepared well. Too foamy, no latte art. Maybe it's because I'm from the Pacific northwest where the coffee is spectacular, so my expectations are high, but I was disappointed in my latte. If we go back I will get drip coffee. If you are expecting a latte with gorgeous foam and a rosetta on it, you won't get it here.
The bagel and cream cheese was just 'ok', too. Overall it sure beat fast food but I was hoping for something a little better.

I'm a very open minded person. So i'm not quick to judge. I'm also very observant. I've noticed that whenever i come here, the owner makes me feel unwelcome - no smile, very rude. However, she is very warm - giving hugs, etc.. to some of her other customers. But me in particular, just not sure what i did wrong - being that i'm a regular, sit quietly in my corner and spend quite a bit each time. I'm NEVER going there again. But that's just me. She might treat you well.

Found this little hole in the wall coffee/lunch shop simply by chance. Very nice staff, delicious smooth brews, and generous lunch platters. You can sit and work for hours and no one will bother you.

It's always fun to sit in Sidamo and do work! It's a big space, so if it's crowded, it's not too loud. There are lots of windows and natural light, so it's a relaxing place to be. The morning chai is my favorite drink here. Chai latte with a shot of espresso! You can get drinks in a mug if you stay there, which is always great at coffee shops.
