Wow, the best donut shop in the DMV area for sure! I heard this place was opened a few months ago, and I can't believe I didn't visit sooner! Their mochi donuts and poke are amazing. Also, the store is beautiful and clean, with plenty of spaces to sit and hang out with friends. Definitely coming to try other flavors!

Are you looking for a healthier version to American donuts? Well this is the place to stop by and grab these cute donuts! The donuts are so good and they change their flavors every week! They also have poke bowels, I haven't tried them but they look delicious! The donuts we got are oreo and churro. They were super soft and delicious!

Tried the Mochi donuts and Dacquoise here and I loved them. The Dacquoise were good but on the nutty side, hard to taste the filling. The coffee flavor shines tho.
The mochi donuts were all great, I tried 6 flavors and was not disappointed at all.

We were so happy to find a shop that sells these bouncy mochi donuts like we used to enjoy in Japan. 🍩The owner and staff were so cool. I even got a business tip to get white paper bags and put our logo stamps on them. This will definitely come in handy. Great advice and great donuts. Our customers are also really enjoying the mochi donuts.

I came by to try the Mochinuts and they're so yummy! The consistency is bouncy, soft but chewy and it's fun to eat them section by section! I tried to get one of every flavor but the Yuzu and Salted Honey Butter was sold out by the time I got there. I'll definitely stop by another day to try their rotating flavors! My favorite so far is the Mixed Berry!

Cute little place that recently opened up. The poke bowls were good and the mochi donuts were solid, they had a great texture and just the right amount of sweetness.
However, the portion for the poke bowls themselves were pretty small, the toppings were very small scoops, and overall didn't feel like we paid for $16 worth of food each and were still hungry afterwards. The decor in the place was lacking- the store itself was pretty empty with a few wobble chairs and benches to eat at. More donut choices would have also been nice, there are only 6 to choose from.
Overall, I liked it and would come back if I wanted to splurge slightly more on a casual place. They're still fairly new so maybe they'll work out some of the kinks.

the BEST DONUT you can get in DMV area! the donuts were absolutely delicious! The mochi donuts have a unique texture that is both chewy and soft, and the flavors are all extremely fresh and vibrant. I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for an enjoyable and unique treat.

The mochi donuts are very yummy! Definitely a different but welcoming texture than regular donuts. I brought this dozen to a birthday party and everyone loved it. Would definitely come back for more. Also tried the poke bowl during the first week of soft opening and wasn't enough compared to other poke places. Hopefully by grand opening, the portions would be bigger. Poke portions could use some work, but the donuts are worth it to come back!

I have a rule in life that whenever I see a new place selling mochi donuts I have to check it out. I wasn't disappointed!
The prices here are super reasonable, especially coming from Boston where the best deals are 3 for $10. At Over Rice you can get 1 for $1.99, 6 for $10.99, and 12 for $21.99. Literally half the price you pay at the establishments in Boston. I was very happy to buy a dozen. The biscoff flavor is 50 cents more (probably because of the cookie crumbles?) so I ended up paying $23 for the bunch.
The texture of the donuts is perfect. I had them both at room temperature and slightly warmed up in the microwave, and both were delicious. They didn't feel greasy at all but they still felt substantial, striking a perfect balance in my book. One note is that it's harder to taste the flavors when the donut is warmed up -- the powdered sugar taste dominates over everything else.
As for the flavors, the matcha was a bit subtler than I'm used to but still had a matcha flavor, while the taro ube didn't taste like much of anything. The birthday cake had a vanilla flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by the strawberry flavor as I'm used to other strawberry mochi donuts tasting like Nesquick strawberry milk powder. This one tasted more like they used actual strawberry powder or something that rang closer to an authentic strawberry flavor. I didn't taste much of the churro or biscoff donuts but my family preferred the churro.
Overall some of the flavors were stronger than others but the aesthetic appeal and delicious textures made these donuts a hit with everyone in the family. I'll definitely be returning when I'm in town!

My first time trying them and they are so delicious 🥰😋, highly recommended, and if you warm them up in the toaster oven omg they get a crispy texture and still soft on the inside 😍
