Old Mill Cafe

My first time!

Place: Very clean
Service: Pleasant, very good local environment.
Food: I got an "Always Sunny ☀️" all the ingredients matched perfectly. Loved that combination. It included pesto, eggs, spinach, cheese. The drink was a natural berry smoothie 🥤 no sugar added.
Other good things to know: They have a corner to buy good pictures related to or town. On the other corner a bookshelf with books to use there or exchange.

This is a great little cafe for getting breakfast or lunch, or just a coffee and danish. They have a very nice little seating area inside, and tables on the patio outside. Their service has been very good when I have been there. The two downsides for me are that it's a bit pricey, and the wait can be long. I had a turkey cheddar sandwich today, and it was good.

I'm a foodie, but I have to say that I'm not really picky. I could try almost anything at least once and if it is good - I truly enjoy it. However I have a colleague who is VERY picky with what he eats. This morning I had a rare chance to hang out with this man for brunch and we both like to visit "local" vs "chain", so we came to Old Mill. We both went with different kinds of bagel sandwich. Long story short: after most of the sandwich was gone, my friend's exact words were, "I'm not even cappin'.. THE BEST BAGEL SANDWICH I EVER HAD"! I concur.
That is as many stars as you can give.

This is the first time we come to Old Mill Cafe, after reading these good reviews we decided to give it a try. Un fortunately we werent that lucky. The girl in the cashier (taking the orders) was kinda rude, making faces, I really dont know if she was in a bad mood that day... The Sandwich I ordered was delicious, however it was over toasted. We also got a plain bagel with cream cheese and also the bread was over toested, almost burnt. Maybe the toaster is messed up or they just forgot about having the food in the toaster... who knows. There are only a couple of tables inside, I guess this is due to covid. Coffee was "OK".

They offer a wide selection of yummy pastries, teas and coffees (hot/iced) and offer free WiFi. Parking is really limited. Pets allowed in the outdoor seating area.

Love this spot! I frequently walk (or drive when being lazy) down to grab an iced coffee or sometimes a breakfast sandwich. Amazing selection of pastries/desserts. The coffee is delicious and there's a really cute area outside to sit and have breakfast. Also the iced coffee is such a great price!

Easily a favorite. Great for grab-and-go sandwiches and coffees. Even better for sit-down, relax, weekdays or weekends, doesn't matter.

For my first spontaneous visit, there was an incredible guitar band playing and it just made my day so much better. We ordered the breakfast sandwich with spinach/egg, avocado toast with feta, blueberry muffin (warm!), and one coffee, one tea. If I could offer one suggestion it would be something similar to 'coffee of the week' from a different country. Superb atmosphere and the server was extremely nice. I can't wait to go back.

This is such a cute little place, right across the river from the main drag of historic Ellicott City. The food was great, the people were friendly, and it has a small area for both indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend the Le Sammy (ham & cheese)!
