Great stop for a little breakfast treat before heading into Acadia. We picked up two croissants, a Spinach & Feta and a Blueberry Cream Cheese (you know, for breakfast dessert). Definitely take them warmed up!

The pastries were just okay. I ordered a croissant and they asked customers in front of me if they wanted theirs warmed up and did not give me that option; it would have been much better warm. Also, a man in front of me had a large order and added to it twice after paying, thus cutting in front of me and everyone behind me.

The treats were delicious! I really enjoyed the lemon blueberry whoopie pies and pain au chocolat ("chocolate croissants" there). Pretty reasonably priced for a small business- comparable for most of the bakeries I've been to. They are cash only so don't let that surprise you before you come in.

The cottage we are in is right across the street. I can feel my diet dying quickly. This is a fabulous bakery. The ham and cheese croissant I had was delicious, pastry buttery and flaky. I got a pain au Chocolat for the afternoon. Not sure it's going to make it that long.

Oh yeah. You will not be disappointed. Try the dairy and gluten free coconut macaroons. Amazing. If they shipped I would order them on-line. Customer service was exceptional.

It's the next day and I am sitting here in Derry NH enjoying a gluten/dairy free Coconut macaroon with a caramel latte and am in heaven. I am hoping they start shipping soon.

Friendly staff and an impressive array of goods to chose from. The perfect spot to stop for coffee and a snack if travelling to/from Acadia. Make sure to have some cash in your wallet.

Friendly service, tasty food and drinks.

The blueberry pomegranate smoothie was refreshing and delicious, but I would ask for 50% or 75% sweetness next time (if they have that option).

Awesome spot for coffee’s and treats. As a heads up nothing is peanut free.

I have been to Bar Harbor 5 times. Found the Bakery by accident on the first visit.
I go there every trip now. Very tasty and friendly. Have not had a bad selection ever. ❤️

This place is a little gem outside of Bar Harbor and definitely worth a stop. We got the blueberry scone and orange cranberry nut muffin on our first stop. They were both very moist and had tons of flavor. The second time, the guy in front of us had ordered 5 whole blueberry pies and said they were the best he’s ever had. So we followed suit and tried a slice. The filling was great...very moist and gooey and not sickly sweet. The crust was also good, tasted like a lard crust. We wish we had time to try more of their goodies!
