Cozy, cool, and sexy spot. Excellent wine list, dank bites. If I lived in Portland this would be my go-to happy hour place. Perfect for date night, drinking with friends, tasty food. Bonus points for the well-curated market. Smalls is a gem.

What a cute little bougie Mecca! We stopped in for happy hour drinks and snacks and loved how cozy this space felt on a winter’s day.

The cocktails are well-balanced, creative, and DELISH. My husband had a coffee and enjoyed it, too, but we’ll have to come back to give the espresso bar a full review.

The prices are a bit steep for food but I can promise that you won’t be disappointed with how everything tastes. If anything else, it’s kind of in the name—SMALLS—so I wouldn’t expect them to have large portions. It’s a nice place to grab an app and a drink en route to dinner, or to hang for a bit between meals.

The shop in the back encourages you to max out credit cards. Everything is so well curated it made me want to dive into a modern chic boho lifestyle without a second thought.

I hope to pick up many midday buzzes and last-minute gifts here in the future!

Was staying at an Airbnb across the street that highly recommended Smalls. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a natural wine bar / coffee shop / gift store / grocery store that has been superbly decorated. The vibes were really good (playing 80s music, which I personally really enjoyed). We shared a cappuccino and a latte that were both excellent. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or living in Portland!

Great little place with a nice attached gift shop. Highly recommend the espresso + tonic or the cold brew + tonic. Adds a nice little mixup to the standard coffee fare.

Wow found this little gem in Portland, ME and was blown away by the food, service and atmosphere.
Best coffee around and the egg breakfast roll and lemon curd pastry was a taste and texture delight!! We wish that we had brought seconds to have on our trip home.
Also had a cute shop with lots of interesting things and overall great vibe.
If you visit Portland it’s a must stop.

Stopped in for breakfast on the go, and browsed the shop while I waited. It seems like a great place to get a nice lil'gift for someone. The food is delicious, and while the prices are a little steep, it's in line with other nice Portland eateries. I think it's worth the treat, and I hope to come back for lunch, cocktails, and more.

The espresso is very good, fruity and very zesty, almost too acidic but it just about gets away with it. I would order it again for sure. The drip coffee is not as exciting by comparison. Also all drinks are served in ceramic mugs if you are staying in, no endless plastic to worry about. A very nice neighborhood spot.

This was such a cute coffee shop and market! Loved the breakfast sandwich and coffee. One of my favorite places for coffee in Portland!

Came in a 5:50, an hour before closing. Tried to order a latte and an espresso. Was told they were done with espresso drinks for the evening.... at a coffee shop.... while open....
Weirdest response ever expected at a coffee shop.
I left and took my business elsewhere.
