I'm from north carolina and was in town on work. I fell in love with this place immediately. The food is AMAZING and the family is just absolutely adorable! Those meals were both the best meals I'd had in a long time being out on the road. Closest thing to a home cooked meal i could have asked for. Biscuits like REAL biscuits đŸ„°

Cute little breakfast and lunch diner in Hampden. Super clean, very comfortable, small-town overall feel to it.
Brought my small kiddos here on a Mommy and Me date and we liked it a lot. I’m from the south and I’ve been missing some southern soul food. While the biscuits and gravy were average (still yummy, but definitely not anywhere close to a good ‘ol southern style buttermilk biscuit-sorry!), they did have the BEST pancakes!!! Folks, we’re talkin’ better than Dennys, and even better than IHOP, even though the overall flavor reminds me of IHOP exactly with the butteriness lol
The prices are fantastic, you cannot beat them!!! And my gosh, we received the friendliest service from the ENTIRE diner staff.

Seriously, if you find yourself in Hampden and hungry or you feel a little soul-sapped, come in here and they will take care of you!

If you’re looking for amazing food this is the place. Things you should know before going most of the time there is a wait due to so many customers. They wouldn’t be packed if they didn’t serve great meals. A small town diner that makes you feel like you’re at grandmas for breakfast. My wife and I really enjoy the food along with the atmosphere. Kind and friendly staff if you haven’t been I highly recommend going. Parking lot isn’t massive and parking can be a pain in the butt. Worth the visit as always!

Nice breakfast Cafe. They make their own raisin bread and jams. Cooked my eggs perfect. The country potatoes are a little different, and not sure if Mainers like their toast burnt. The coffee and cream are very good. Seems Mainers like a more mild coffee. I don't care for strong coffee. Ate here twice while in Hampden.

Just ate there again this week. The food is always excellent, also the service and atmosphere. The place is decorated beautifully and clean. You will meet the regulars. A fun place to go!!

Hampden wouldn't be Hampden without the Coffee Break. Delicious food served by fantastic staff for a great price. There is no better place to get breakfast in the area, hands down.

Food is excellent 👌 Service is excellent 👌 When you run a business and love what you're doing and your workers and customers, it makes for an atmosphere as a customer that you want to patron as much as possible. If you want your money's worth and enjoy excellent service and don't mind the small cafe space, this is a must try place.

One of our favorite breakfast spots! Great food.

Plus it's convenient to home.

Arrived 1/2 hour before closing and the place was packed. Not only did they say us but also three parties that came in after us. Good service, coffee was fresh and hot, omelets and toast were 😋
