Coffee Break Cafe

It cost me 40$ for eggs Benedict w hash & an omelet w side of gravy. The hash is out of a can! The hollandaise sauce was flavorless! The omelet was burned and they added green peppers which weren’t on the menu item! The gravy is strange…. Too much sage, perhaps! The restaurant itself is very dirty and smells like musty mildew. Extremely dissatisfied doesn’t come close! The prices are absurd for the quality of food!

Just left this cute little diner that somehow fits a whole lot of people. Our server was sweet Patty. Great big slices of bread with butter and yummy blueberry jam. Husband had the traditional eggs Benedict with homemade Hollandaise and I had the homemade Hash with over medium eggs. Be sure to ask for potatoes as they’re delicious 🤤
To be honest, everything was great and with a really comfy atmosphere. Take a little detour and get some of this yummylicious food, you’ll love it!

This is THE place for breakfast! Local family owned business, great food and coffee, friendly service. Ask for toast and jam. The bread is beautiful thick slices of bakery bread with homemade jam-yes homemade jam!!! We had the blueberry jam (think wild Maine blueberry heaven) which frankly I would eat with a spoon. It’s that good!! It’s a small place, so get there early and be patient, it will be worth the short wait!!! They have coffee and muffins to go too if you don’t have time to sit down for a full breakfast. This is a 5-star breakfast and supports local business. We will see you there! :-)

Seriously a diamond in the rough in so many way, from absolutely amazing delicious homemade food, bake goods, to very knowledgeable, quick, attention to details, professional, friendly cooks to the most mouth watering bakegoods on the planet to very personable, hard working, professional staff all around! The atmosphere is more like a cozy little nook in one's home that you could enjoy family & friends & good food with all & WITHOUT HAVING TO TAKE OUT ANOTHER MORTGAGE IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO ENJOY LIFE A LIL WITH LOVED ONES IN YOUR WORLD!! LOL

Relaxed, friendly small town meeting spot where everyone knows each other. Homemade jams with your toast, from scratch hollandaise sauce on my eggs Benedict! generous portions, fresh backed goods!

This is the best place I’ve ever eaten for breakfast and I am fussy about my pancakes and eggs and everything in between lol. The pancakes are AMAZING! The bacon perfect, the raisin bread to die for and yes I ate a fried egg too…and there wasn’t a single morsel left on my plate. Love the love they put into their food and their joy to please their customers. I will be back but not until I lose the weight I gained…oh my it’s that good.

We make a point to always stop here when we visit our daughter at UMAINE or moving her in. We have been coming here each trip since we toured the school. Absolutely LOVE the food, the staff and the atmosphere
