The Local Hub

This is seriously one of my favorite businesses on the planet. I live in Boston but make it a point to stop here every time I visit Maine. The staff is super friendly, the beer selection is great, and the chicken salad is to die for. Also love the atmosphere inside, so cozy!

Great scones and muffins. Passing through but wish I lived near this great little place. Lucky locals to have the Hub.

Great made to order food and healthy snacks. Support the local community and stop on by.

I've edited my review. Their prices have become ridiculous. $26 for a 14" pie. No thanks.

The food is pretty good but I can't give a good review because of their inconsistencies. They say they are open on their website, voice-mail and door sign but they are often closed regardless. Pretty frustrating when you drive all the way there only to find they are not open. This is why many of the locals have stopped supporting this business.

We were so happy to find this spot after our day trip to the bike park at Mt Abram. They focus on local produce, meats, etc and make their own baked goods, including the delicious bun on our burger. The burgers were awesome and I'm pretty picky about my burgers. Local beef, fresh lettuce, lots of delicious sauces and condiments, fresh grilled buns, variety of good cheeses... As someone who always buys healthy local foods this spot was a welcome find in the area!

Great stop between the Whites and Bar Harbor. Our food was delicious and we grabbed a few groceries. They had parking out back large enough for our trailer. Love local spots with large lots!

I absolutely love this place! They have THE BEST homemade bagels and all around great food! I would've given them 5 stars but they are only open 3 to 4 days a week and that is the reason for 4 stars.

Excellent market and cafe. Great food options. Beer and wine available for dine in.

You can also buy wine and beer to go. There are prepared meals and a small selection of snacks, baking goods, and cleaning supplies.

By far some of the freshest ingredients I've tasted in a sandwich. Great breakfast and coffee as well, the staff is very helpful and takeout service is available with outdoor seating. I always make a point to stop here when I'm in town for the weekend!
