Great little coffee shop, with a few select treats, but more of a focus on coffee drinks. Decor is minimal and modern and there are a handful of seats.

When I travel, part of the trip is experiencing local flavors. I planned to get coffee while in the area and after reading about Time & Tide, I decided to stop in. I love the simple, minimalist space. I grabbed some of the Year One blend to make on the rest of my trip. And while I normally would grab an espresso to go, I decided to branch out and try the Pistachio latte. Boy Howdy. That’s a solid drink. I will definitely come back in all future visits to Maine.

I had the pistachio cream latte and I now understand why it’s “famous” so yum! I loved the aesthetic of the cafe, so cute. I also appreciate the paper straws.

Time and Tide is yet another gem in the Biddeford area. The barista was pretty talkative about the drinks and the shop. The drinks that we ordered (pistachio latte and saffron latte) were both fantastic. Definitely recommend a stop when you are in the area.

I really love their iced chai latte. Their staff are super friendly and deliver fast service. Plus I love that if you bring your own cup, they give you a slight discount. It's my new favorite coffee place in Biddeford.

Great beans. Chill vibe. And pistachio cream latte is the best I’ve had!!

Pistachio Cream Latte with Oat Milk-absolutely delicious.

Fantastic coffee! Their tasty beans can be delivered to your home if you’re not local to Maine. An adorable shop that’s obviously a solid addition to the community!

Time & Tide coffee was one of the first local businesses I discovered since I’d moved to the area.
I used to come by every week, buying new merch and roast releases to send to my family in another state.
The coffee drinks are delicious, majority of the decor is done by local artists, and the bag recycling program is a nice touch to help with carbon footprints.
My 3-star rating comes from my recent experiences, which have been so far left-field and VERY…not-lovely. Whenever I come in, I usually have a friend, a book, my phone to keep entertained — if I’m dining in.
The last month or so I’ve visited, nobody greets me when I walk in, nobody asks how I’m doing, I literally feel the entire energy and mood of the room die when I walk in.
Mind you, I always say please & thank you, get the same 1 of 2 drinks every time, leave a tip, and wish a nice day on my way out the door. Well, now I’m confused.
Another experience that’s happened, is the owner and employees have accused me of staring at everybody— irregardless my being nose-deep in a book or with my BACK TURNED and phone screen in my face. It’s disheartening to hear conversations about this and to see fingers pointed in my direction by employees and now, other regular customers. I kept giving Time & Tide chance after chance, week after week, knowing humans are humans and are worried about themselves and protecting themselves first. I wish it was a one-off, even a one-off month…but +$40 of coffee and over a month later it is obvious I’ve been felt to explicitly not be welcome in Time & Tide.
I’ve come in at different times and days, worked with different employees, during busy & slow times and the experiences have all rounded up to be the same and I just couldn’t go without talking about this any longer.
I do hope though, that other people, tourists, visitors, and locals have better experiences than I have had at recent, and to note that Time & Tide has a simple menu with great options, and easily accommodate picky eaters and dairy-free/vegan lifestyles.
