2 Cats Bar Harbor

Our favorite place for breakfast in Bar Harbor by far. Much better than many of the tourist traps in the area. Food is all homemade and the bisquits with strawberry butter is their signature item and a must try.

Third time I’ve been here in six years. Consistently great food. My sister still talks about the potatoes five years later. Worth a stop for breakfast or brunch. They also sell their homemade hot sauce. I’ve bought many a bottle over the years of that as well.

Delicious! My husband loved the biscuits. The chai lattes were very good. We also had a blueberry pancake, eggs Benedict and Farmers breakfast with a side of bacon. We would definitely go back. Recommend!

Ordered the lobster eggs benedict. The lobster seems to be either overcooked or old. Other than that, the hot sauce made by them was really good. Staff were also very friendly, and they are from different areas of the world.

Delicious! Loved this place. Lobster eggs Benedict was so good. Everyone at my table was pleased with their orders. The presentation is great, the taste was great. They make their own hot sauce, it was so good we bought some to take home. They are also dog friendly which is a plus in my book !

Some of the best eggs I’ve ever had!! I had the summer scramble the first visit, and the kalamata olive and feta omelette 2nd visit. Strawberry butter is amazing. The Milky Way coffee was great too 🥹
There was a 30 minute wait at 10am on Saturday, but the staff was great and called us right away.
If you’re not afraid of bees, seating next to the flowers is beautiful.

Been coming for decades, but this was my first visit as a gluten free vegan on a no-oil diet. I asked if the tofu scramble could be done with no patatoes (oil) or biscuit and made with fruit instead. No problem. It was a $2.50 upcharge. Tofu scramble was really creamy tasting and lovely. About half the portion size I make at home, but yummy. Appreciate the ability to accommodate!

We ate here 3 times while on vacation! Absolutely loved the ho hum breakfast-best breakfast I’ve ever had. We also loved the lobster omelette. Very efficient and friendly!

The food was amazing. We had our breakfast at this place for all the days that we stayed in beautiful Bar Harbor during our holiday. Farmer's breakfast, Mediterranean Breakfast and Tofu Scramble are amazing. Spicy home fries was something different in menu, unique to 2 Cats, we really loved it. I loved pancakes, I am usually not really into pancakes, but pancake of 2 Cats was lovely.Customer service was amazing, we were served on time and had a good morning breakfast experience. Would love to eat here again in our next visit.

I'm not a big breakfast person but I ended up coming here twice when I was on vacation - it was that good! The food is fresh and made to order. The summer scramble was my favorite and the lemonade is very refreshing. I did the early morning Cadillac Mt. Sunset hike and this was the perfect meal to have after a long morning of hiking. Would highly recommend.
