Z'otz is the best coffee and tea in New Orleans in my opinion. The shop is a great place to spend some time. The decorations are interesting and the seating gives an almost at-home feeling. There's a courtyard in the back with an awesome mural. The baristas are all quirky and interesting people. They have a large selection drink flavorings. The tea selection is pretty fantastic. Definitely one of my favorite places in the city.

The atmosphere at Zotz is truly unique and wildly interesting when compared with any other coffee shop or bakery in New Orleans. Their commitment to the grunge punk decor and dim lighting makes it a perfect place to do work or study for long periods of time. It's never particularly loud and the spaces they provide are much roomier and cozier than other shops in the area. On top of all that prices are reasonable, the staff is wonderfully quirky, and it's a great opportunity to support local business.

Used to be my favorite neighborhood coffee shop. Went with my girlfriend recently (last time, her coffee wasn’t sweet enough). She tasted her coffee, a table’s length from the “service counter” to make sure it was right (table is 4 feet, she was about a foot from the table, table backed up against counter which is another 1-2 feet). Rude barista yelled at her for tasting her drink. She apologized profusely bc we have taken COVID seriously this whole year. He continues to say “yeah I don’t know people are just so frustrating with that, you would think you would know after it being a year”, but he said it in a way that confused us bc it was insulting yet he was chipper? Lol never had a problem before this barista. Won’t be back.

This place has great vibes! It’s cozy and eclectic, the coffee’s delicious, and the baristas are inviting. I definitely recommend for studying, getting work done, or meeting a friend!

Z'otz was one of my favorite coffee shops when I lived in New Orleans. The atmosphere is quirky and the staff is always friendly. Great drinks and very bike accessible!

I love the coffee, this last Saturday I had the lady barista call me rude because I had a zoom call connected to my earpod, I didn’t know that I can’t have a work meeting and order a coffee at the same time. Maybe if she would have taken her mask off or yelled louder through her mask I would have acknowledged her question. I come here 5x a week, I don’t appreciate the attitude.

Love their espresso. The staff is always nice and attentive. It's a nice escape after an especially hard day with my lunatic boss plus it's right next to a couple of my favorite shops on oak street

The quintessential hipster cafe coffee shop. Lots of students, poets, freaks. Many types of coffees and teas including organic. Small tables, free WiFi, free books, outdoor seating. The prices are really low it's an excellent place to hang out if you want to study or talk about quantum physics or witchcraft. Or have a conversation with a lady in a black dress that speaks Japanese French Spanish and English.

Their beverages and snacks are delicious if you're just passing through for a pick-me-up; but the friendly workers and great atmosphere make it a great location to spend a few hours studying for school, reading a book, or perusing the free (with purchase) wifi. With 3 indoor rooms and a large covered back patio, it's easy to find a great place to get comfortable.
