Amazing coffeeshop! The employees (Lichelle & Haley) are happy to be there and happy to take care of me 10/10 times I'm there. Will be returning here very often primarily because of their attitude and energy.
Also those breakfast tacos are off the chain! As a vegetarian I was major impressed by the taste and filling quality of the black bean and sweet potato burrito. And that nitro cold brew is intense every time 😍

Incredible coffee and pastries!

Cool place to visit and only a few blocks from our airbnb and the streetcar. It is on the smaller side and the menu isn't huge but it is a nice spot for a quick bit before heading down to the french quarter for the day. I had iced coffee and a bagel with chive creamcheese that I would guess was homemade. Both were very good and exactly what I wanted. My friend had their sweet potato and blackbean breakfast tacos which they prepare fresh in the morning and then heat up. They had a chorizo option also. She really enjoyed her food and the latte she had as well. My friend doesn't drink dairy and appreciated that they had so many dairy alternatives including oatmilk, soy milk, almond milk, and coconut milk. The barista was very nice and helpful!

I'm picky with espresso- if I don't see a scale near the grinder I'm prone to leave a place before ordering. One problem with places that do coffee well is that hubris can oftentimes match the skill of they crafting the coffee. The staff at Hey coffee are an exception to this trend. The first extraction he pulled was too long, he knew it and pulled a second rather than not caring. We're visiting NOLA and they had sound recommendations for us to visit. No BS, no hubris, just good coffee from kind people.
