A great little coffee shop, amazing service. A great neighborhood spot

Was hoping for a charming neighborhood joint for a coffee and breakfast. But the entire experience turned bad quickly. Weak coffee served in gas station styrofoam, breakfast sandwich was stale, cold, and ended up in the trash. The breakfast eggs meal was meh, but it took 40 minutes to get, and was brought out by my wife. Seems they forgot to put in my order. Dirty is an understatement. Music was good, tho. And the incense smell was nice, too. Reminded me of west philly. But don't eat there...

Clearly a neighborhood joint. Great people watching and easy conversations. When we were there there was someone playing piano inside, someone practicing guitar outside and a two sax players discussing who to go to for repairs - the German or French technician. All I want in a cafe...

I love this place! The coffee and chai is great and they have some quick eats as well. I tried the hummus sandwich and it was delicious! They have breakfast in the morning and are open pretty late as well.

Several styles of fresh high quality coffee... Chicory, French roast, Colombian, Ethiopian and Kenyan. Wide variety of sweet and savory pastries from cupcakes to boreks, a Turkish traditional pastry with either veggies or meat. Heavenly pancakes. We came here the first morning in town and came back for breakfast every day. Friendly folks work here. Owner Ali is on-site. It has outdoor and indoor seating. Worl by local artists on the walls.

Young, poor Hipsters and counter-culture, alternative Lifestyle types abound, good coffee good pastries! As I recall the counter person was as flaky as my pastry, but still a great little hang.

A charming little place on the corner. Get for anyone looking for a suit down coffee shop. Is usually quiet with the exception of the occasional pianist, food is good and coffee is good enough, prices are fair.

Great funky coffee shop -classic New Orleans hippie hangout. Really nice staff and GREAT coffee. Probably my favorite coffee in NO. Good baklava too.
