By far, one of favorite coffee spots on the Northshore. Set in an old house along the river, you can’t beat the atmosphere. The coffee is great, the staff is always welcoming, and I absolutely love when the have a fire going in the fireplace. I don’t often eat there, but I have occasionally. The food has always been good, and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered.

Nice place to have breakfast or lunch. A very nice view of the Tchefuncte river.

My family had a catered event in the courtyard recently and it was everything we expected and then some. The food was really great and for the venue and catering (including tea/water) the price was perfect too. They had a cash bar available as well. If I was planning a small wedding, event, etc - I would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely love the charm of this place, and the food, ambiance, and coffee are fantastic. But, the last time I went in there (6/29/2020), zero customers (other than myself) and zero food service personnel were wearing masks. It's like entering a lovely little warped world where they think the virus won't get them. I will stay away until they start to follow our governor's orders.

Very good coffee and pastries. Very nice atmosphere. In a beautiful old frame house with outdoor seating under grand Live Oak trees and great view of the Tchefuncte River. Nothing moves fast here so allocate some time to just hang out. It's worth it.

Fantastic little cafe on the river. Wonderful food and atmosphere. Turkey Panini is excellent. I didn't have a biscuit, but they looked amazing. Loved the Melt Away dessert with coffee for a perfect ending to a lovely meal.

Great coffee and the Cuban sandwich was fantastic! Great atmosphere and a wonderful place to go on a beautiful day! Was on the pricey side two sandwiches, a coffee, coke, and bottled water was $30 and food took almost 30 minutes to come out. All in all great place to have lunch as long as you have the time and the money.

As often as we come to place, it was very frustrating to sit at an outside table and have the waitress walk past us and not acknowledge our existence for 10 minutes. You have got to do better, for the record there were less than 4 people around us.

Edit- we love this place and won’t let one bad experience ruin it for us. Back to 5 stars

The shrimp with fried green tomatoes is good. The steak sandwich and quesadilla was bland. I then ordered a soup to go for my aunt which was less than half a container for $10 dollars. That’s is really bad I almost complained but they were so busy & no one had time to listen so I just took it and left. Disappointed!!!
