Very delicious.
We dined al fresco on the waterfront.

As if April 3rd, 2023, looking old on the place.
Labor issues still are present.
Paint. More paint.
Food us great.

A special morning on thr Tchefuncte River. Stary your day off with a delicious Cowboy omelette, Southern grits, sausage and strong coffee.

we were staying at the state park and went there for breakfast, the portions and food were great. the service was wonderful and everyone was very nice.
we went back four more times during our week there for just coffee and scones, and diner 1 evening. we also tried the one in Covington. love it :)

One of my favorite spots. Good coffee. Good food. Good outdoor seating. All good.

My fiancé and I met some out of town family here Sunday morning and was forgot about for over an hour and a half while we waited for our meal. Unfortunately, we had to leave in order to make an appointment across the lake while our family stayed. The server was obviously upset and I noticed she had a HUGE section, probably more than one person should be expected to handle. I was surprised that a manager never made an appearance to say “I’m so sorry this happened” or even acknowledge that our visit was a complete waste of our morning.

Just perfect, a must see location, and enjoy everything in there... Coffee and else!

Quaint restaurant located on the Tchefuncte River serving great breakfast and lunch. Plenty of coffee options to choose from. Beautiful scenery of the river from the porch seating. Beautiful homes built across the river and lots of boat passing daily up and down stream of the river.

We were returning from the Strawberry Fest in Pontchatoula, LA and needed, well really just wanted some really great coffee since we hadn't had any before we left home this morning, just some gas station cappuccino on the way.
We wound up grabbing some beignet bites and sweet potato halo's as well and really enjoyed them sitting in the shade under the oaks around the fountain with a cool gentle breeze making everything just so peaceful. We would recommend and wish these good flavors and peacefulness for everyone.

Absolutely the best kept secret on the north shore! We accidentally found this incredible place while visiting from Kansas. The food was absolutely the most amazing we've ever had. The service was so friendly and great. I could eat 3 meals a day there and not get tired of it. A must go to travelers!!
