Pujo St Cafe

It’s really sad and disgusting the mindset the staff here has towards minorities. I accepted their halfhearted apology for the poor service I received in my previous visit. Figured I’d give them another try. Now, after literally being ignored so long I had to get up and go find my server so I could order I’m going to believe they are who they are telling me they are. I was the only minority in the restaurant and the only one not receiving service. That’s easy math. This place is an embarrassment to the south.

Pujo's was awesome! Brittany was our waitress. She was EXCEPTIONAL. We ask for her every time we go. My boyfriend loves the quesadillas and I love the Swiss Mushroom 🍔 Burger. The hamburger meat was fresh and it was cooked to perfection. Kudos to the chef. We go at least once a week! Yummy is an understatement.

Excellent service and excellent food. This yankee loved your shrimp and grits. The other 3 in my group enjoyed the breakfast burger. Highly recommend!

Love the place my wife and I eat here for lunch almost everyday during the work week, that said I just had the fish tacos wasn't horrible but as far as fish tacos are concerned not good a lot of work will need to be done on that end to have a good taco it's almost like a Yankee was back there making them 😂

We stopped by the Pujo Street Cafe for brunch on Sunday and had a great experience. The service was the best and quickest I have received in Lake Charles. The interior has a nice rustic feel and is very quiet even when packed.

The food itself was good - but all of it tended to be a bit over salted. This was our first visit so I'm not sure if this was just a one off issue. Otherwise, the food was great and we will definitely be back.

Probably one of the last Staples of our community still standing amongst only a handful who have stood the test of time! Consistency is key and they always seem to knock it out of the park. Keep delivering the fantastic food and atmosphere Pujo St Cafe!!!

Went there at 11am with a party of 6 told us a 2 hour wait

My husband and I ordered a couple of sandwiches here on a date. There aren't a lot of options on the menu but i really loved my chicken cordon blue sandwich. His Philly cheese steak wasn't the best but I thought it still was pretty good. The wait staff was great. The food took a long time despite there was almost no one there. I'm not sure why that was. But my husband and i were on a date so we didn't mind. We are planning to go again another time. The desert was good.
