French Press Coffeehouse

My review may be a little high because I wasn't expecting much and was then pleasantly surprised. I was visiting a shop in the area and needed a pick me up before driving back home and so popped in here assuming I'd get a serviceable iced coffee I got a Coffee La Freeze and it was delicious - it was like their version of a granita but way smoother then anything I've had elsewhere. Really a great blend of coffee, milk and just a hint of sweetness without being a milkshake. If I lived closer I'd go here all the time. As other reviews have mentioned the service wasn't phenomenal but I got my coffee reasonably quick and the interior space was actually a nice place to sit and enjoy it.

This is the best french press location EVER! I've been to a ton none of them make the coffees like they do BUT the lady at the drive today 5-8-2022 at 1:35 pm. She was absolutely amazing and very polite. I wish I knew her name but I will go out of my way to come to this one

Girl at register was friendly. Purchased 2 bagels with cream cheese, the texture of bagels is not right, they taste more like toast.

It was my first time there. I had a regular black coffee which had a bold taste and was very good. Looking at the menu, they had a variety of pastries and also some salads. I had a Blueberry muffin, which was very good. It was moist and had a lot of blueberries in it and was not to sweet. I saw that they had college students there using electric devices and had USB plugs in the bench seating to hook up your devices. There was also free WiFi available.

I brought my mom here on our way to the airport and the great French press coffee and fresh, nutritious soup and salad were just fantastic. I have been back many times since and the food has always been delicious. The dining room is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

I love their LA freeze coffee! Good prices and good quality. Better than Starbucks. Also the staff is so nice. It’s gotten so much better than what it used to be.

I made a split second decision to stop here one morning & it was a life changing decision!! I'm not a huge coffee drinker. I can't drink hot coffee at all. I get frozen coffee and it is usually either so sweet that it doesnt taste like coffee at all, or it isn't sweet enough and the coffee overpowers it. French Press has managed to make the most PERFECT frozen coffee. It's like a piece of Heaven came down and landed in my mouth. I get the large Varamel LA Freeze. It isn't too sweet and it isn't overpowering coffee. It is literally PERFECTTTTT!!! It still manages to taste like coffee while also tasting like a delicious dessert. The whipped cream is to die for, the caramel syrup dripping down the cup is delectable! I now stop EVERY SINGLE MORNING that I have work (basically every dang day) and it is the highlight of my day. The girls at the window are always so cheerful. They obviously take care of their employees because happy employees come from a business that knows it is the employees that keep the business coming in. If the girls were rude, I would go elsewhere. I work with Customers on a daily basis and no matter how annoyed or stressed I may be, I always treat the Customers with kindness and respect. (I work at the CubeSmart in Kenner if yall need storage, hit me up!) This one girl that works there told me my makeup looked pretty and OF COURSE that's something I want to hear if I'm spending the time to do it. Now she will open the window and be like, "Oh hey girl!" So it has that family atmosphere that I love! I never write a review this long unless the place goes above and beyond and even though they are just doing their jobs, they are doing it FANTASTICALLY! Thank you so much to all of you for being exactly what I need before work each morning! Yall rock!

I was craving soup, but do not eat mushrooms which was the soup of the day. The young mother to be that took my order offered to strain the mushrooms from the soup for me. It was delicious!! The young lady greeted me as I walked in, gave me excellent, and professional customer service throughout my vist with a smile. It's not often in this day in time to receive service such as this. She deserves to be recognize. Thank you so much for an enjoyable lunch break :)

Great! I tried the Halloween coffees. They were great! Love the effort!

Always been drinking French Press! My personal favorite is their Pumpkin Spice La Freeze with Whip Cream! Place is always very nice!
