I liked this place, I enjoyed looking at all the art on the walls, the feeling was amazing. I order pancakes, eggs over medium, sausages and grits. Everything was good except my grits. They were let's say too milky no grits consistency no grits flavor. It was literal milk. 4 stars. Thank you.

Came here around 830am on a Saturday. It was almost completely full inside and out. But we managed to order and grab a table outside. And I'm so glad we came! Food was so good, portions were perfect, and the staff was all so friendly! We loved the relaxed, self serve feel of everything. The biscuits and gravy were amazing!

Love Simple Joe's! No fru-fru stuff. Just a good "simple" breakfast with the best pancakes in town.

I think one of the best breakfast places in Baton Rouge to eat.

I was craving breakfast for lunch. The #3 did not disappoint. Will definitely be going back. The staff were very nice and did an excellent job with taking my order, food prep and sending me on my way with takeout.

The owner / manager here is a rageaholic primed, ready & just waiting to get into a confrontation with patrons. Some of those accounts are documented here for all to find and read. Do yourself a favor and don't give him the chance by eating here.

This place is awesome, literally couldn't do anything better. The customer service was amazing, you order your food at the counter but everyone is friendly and helpful even though they're constantly working.
Everything at the table was perfect! Shrimp and grits, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and blueberry quinoa (whatever that is) were all so delicious!!!
The coffee and tea were even great. You get to pick your coffee cup before you order which is cool. There's also lots of local artists paintings for purchase.
Stop reading and go, you won't regret it...

This place has great breakfast classics at reasonable prices. I love a burger for brunch, and the pow burger is so packed full of flavor that I was blown away. This is seriously my favorite burger in Baton Rouge. I’ve been here with my wife who has a gluten allergy several times with no reactions for her. I’ve been with a large group of family and everyone at the table really enjoyed their meals. It was my go to breakfast place in BR. Highly recommend. It’s packed sometimes but their takeout is almost just as good as their dine in!
