Ordered shredded hash, eggs, sausage and french toast. It hit the spot, however, the food to me was slightly bland. After doctoring it up, it gave me life. Service was impeccable. I'd definitely come back.

Loved this place! The staff were so friendly and helpful, they gave me great menu suggestions and I ultimately ordered the spinach, tomato, cheese omelet - so good! I don't even really like omelets, but this one was delicious and I would eat it again. They had great coffee too! Great local place that's decorated in local art for sale, love the vibe, and I would take out-of-town visitors here! I'll definitely be back.

Great breakfast spot! Quick and delicious. Healthy or greasy spoon options for all. Our kids loved the cinnamon rolls.

The food is just down right good.
My first time to Simple Joes, I walk in and I’m ordering to go.
If you have eyes that work, you know just what to do, so I walk up and place my take out order and the counter.
I’m not really sure where to stand at this point, so I position myself somewhere off to the side of the growing line to order; somewhere between ‘in the way’ and ‘in the way’.
After a fair wait, my food is ready. It’s hot and smelling tasty, and after a quick inspection by the head honcho, it’s missing an item. A quick fix, and I’m on my way.
The coffee is delicious, they serve it up fresh and you make it yourself— my preference.
French toast was bomb, eggs were bomb, salmon bagel was bomb. No complaints.
If you’re in the neighborhood, definitely stop in. It’s just tasty stuff.

Breakfast was fantastic, I appreciated the atmosphere and New Orleansesque vibe. The bacon is outstanding and I highly recommend the smoked salmon bagel.

Doesn't look like much from the outside but prices are extremely reasonable, little nicer than an average diner and they even offer a military discount. Ordering seems a little disorganized with the menu board and menus not even visible when ordering at the side counter. All orders are places then delivered to your table. Ordered the Big Joe Sandwich which has two eggs, cheese, and four slices of bacon and it was very good but I almost felt like I wanted a little more like a sauce or a lettuce and tomato.

I just left this place and wanted to write a review right now. I had the number six on the the breakfast menu and it was rolling. This may be the best breakfast spot in town. The bacon and grits were some of the best I ever had... Anywhere! French toast and eggs were delicious too. I'll be back soon..

Great food, awesome people. Really appreciate the 'mom and pop' vibe. The owners work there, too, and it's obvious how much they care about their business and making sure everyone leaves happy. Neat local art hung on the walls and for sale. The biscuits and cajun sausage gravy are to die for! Also had the shrimp and grits, which was also great. Definitely my new favorite breakfast spot in BR!
