City Roots Coffee Bar

AMAZING environment, friendly staff. They roast their own beans so we thought it was going to be amazing but WOW it was the most burnt tasting beans I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. I am not exaggerating. It’s like the beans were extracted for minutes rather than seconds for our espresso shot drinks. It was undrinkable. We went to a different coffee shop around the corner.

Really cool atmosphere and LOVE that they toast their own beans. Was a great stop on a hot day for a fabulous and refreshing treat...drink of the day, lavender lemonade. So delicious and perfect! Wonderful staff with great service with a smile. Glad I gave them a try and will definitely be back!

The coffee at the bar is good and the atmosphere is nice! With options inside and outside, it's a good place to work or have a 1:1 meeting. However, I wasn't happy with the coffee beans that I purchased for home. It was labeled as a light roast, but, when I opened the bag, it was a dark roast, if not over-roasted. The taste wasn't good.

This is a very nice coffee bar! The atmosphere is really cool and unique and everyone working there was very nice! The menu did not have a lot of options (which might be a good thing). I got a nitro cold brew vanilla latte and was really impressed! I loved being able to support a local business and I will definitely be back! I also really liked the location in the Electric Depot! Very cool place!

Really nice atmosphere. Coffee selections are great. Love the summer flavor "Cinnabun cold brew". The macarons were delicious.

This is a great little coffee shop! The drinks are tasty, the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Their matcha drinks are good enough for ME to enjoy them, and I normally dislike matcha!

Definitely worth checking out. Get a cookie while you're there, they're delicious

Definitely better than Starbucks! But then again - how can you compare apples to oranges? The barista’s are always so friendly and welcoming, and sometimes I just tell them to make me a mystery drink, and they have never failed to surprise me! I love the ambience in this coffee shop, and the little outdoor seating area as well. This is definitely my to go to spot for coffee and business meetings!
