One of my favorite places in Alexandria

Sometimes it can be a little bit of a wait for service , but I feel that's really part of the chill, relaxed atmosphere there. They'll bring your order out to your table for you, which is hella convenient. The staff is pretty friendly. The atmosphere is very hipster or "abandoned thrift store chic" but it is a lovely, lovely little place. The WiFi is great there! Highly recommend it! If you need something to do in Alexandria, Louisiana, check it out!

Even though I can't go inside this place I have to be truthful. It's a lovely place quiet and the coffee is wonderful. The time I enjoyed it it was so peaceful and warm the workers where very nice but being out of a place to live fighting with and ex I can't blame them it's a great place to sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee

Tamp and grind is really historic! Not in the old way but it has great value for the downtown area and brought it some life! It triggered other businesses to pop up and bring life to this area! And then there is the coffee!!! Wow is it good and the setting is so chill and relaxed. I see all ages there with games and studying.

Groovy coffee shop that has been a local hangout for a long time. Owner is committed to local community and has created a fun atmosphere that you hate to leave. Coffee is good and company is great. Not a great selection of baked goods or desserts.

Favorittttte coffee shop. Free wifi, the avocado toast is FRIGGIN AMAZING, and the people that work here are always in such a good mood which is major key 🙏🏽👏🏽🙌🏾🤍

Very young spot but you see a wide age range of people there. You can bring laptops and do homework or work on projects and the noise has never been a problem for me. Directly across is beautiful artwork. This is where Alexandria does most of its festivals so you’ll always be right in the mix of things. I don’t really order the food but the drinks are awesome. Parking isn’t the best but it’s downtown so you’ll have to be willing to walk at times.

Super cute place, ladies were sweet. Lots of places to sit and enjoy your drink & treat. Loved it !

Fun place to hang out. Really good tea selection and you have got to try the lemon freeze. I got the lavender lemon freeze, it's so yummy. Friendly staff. Good selection of board games, free Wi-Fi. Wonderful place to just people watch, study or meet new people.
