Great coffee and the egg frittatas were excellent. As you would expect, they use good coffee and they know how to pull espresso. The flat white was tasty with great espresso flavor.

Absolutely great place. Parking can be a bit iffy, though, just across the street is a bit of a parking garage that is technically the first floor of a building. The coffee is as good and the employees are very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is wonderful with music and tons of decorations and with many pieces of art from local artist and students. My last day in town the music was a little loud for my studies and I asked for them to turn it down a bit, and he did!

Lovely place. Nice seating with a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Doesn't feel like you'll be judged for not knowing what sort of coffee you want. Has its own personality. The coffee is really good and the staff are both charming and friendly. Whenever I'm in Alexandria I always try to stop by.

My favorite coffee shop! Great tea and coffee selections. They give back to the community as well <3 *update: they've remodeled and its even more cozy. They also make homemade bread for a variety of toasts they offer, they use locally made peanut butter (and sell it). They also have a wide variety of Italian soda flavors (cream if you want). I love watermelon and salted Carmel. They are also starting to host game nights again, such as trivia.

I visited T&G this afternoon; this was my first experience with the kind baristas of the T&G. The deliberate elcetic, decor not only provided a refreshing but unique cafe vibe. The quality of the coffee was excellent, delightful and full-bodied and the temperture was perfect for drinking immediately. The staff were friendly and very helpful with every request. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

I love it when a coffee shop has a good drip and real mugs. These guys absolutely have that along with a great chill atmosphere. I really recommend their drip coffee, absolutely delicious. Perfect balance and aroma. I can’t stress how much I enjoyed it.

Casual, comfortable, friendly. You don't get the speed of the big chains but they are not slow... they just take the time to serve every customer like they matter. Red velvet cheesecake cupcake was amazing. Lots of great flavor options.

There is a... feel to this place; a warmth and protective feel that I don't ever find in public spaces. If I lived anywhere near here, it would be my place of choice for treats, coffee, and peace.

Told them my order 3 times and they still got it wrong.

I cant believe I havent rated T&G yet....... This coffee shop is a true gem of downtown Alexandria❤. A positive, welcoming, cozy, eclectic vibe is what you will find @ T&G every.single.visit. Well Loved by its community and trust me it shows❤❤. Just wish I could give this coffee shop a 10 🤩😚

Very cute coffee shop with well mannered baristas who helped me pick out something for my daughter and suggested I try something new. They have so many choices to pick from but everything I've tried has been delicious.
