Brenda's Country Cafe is a charming little cafe located at 310 3rd St, Simpsonville, KY 40067. This establishment is known for its delicious country cooking and warm, friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a true hole-in-the-wall dining experience, Brenda's is the place to go.

When you step into Brenda's Country Cafe, you'll feel like you've been transported back in time. The decor may be old and worn, but that's part of its charm. The plates and silverware are mix and match, adding to the cozy, homey feel of the place. It's like visiting your grandma's house.

Brenda herself is an extremely nice and friendly lady, and she runs the cafe with a side of sass. She shoots straight from the hip, and whatever she's fixing that day is what you're getting. The menu selection might be fairly small, but everything is made right there, just like your mom and grandma would have done it.

Customers rave about the delicious food at Brenda's Country Cafe. The portions are generous, and you'll leave with a full and satisfied belly. The menu changes daily, but you can expect classic country dishes like meatloaf, pork chops, and homemade biscuits. The pork dumplings, seasoned green beans, and baked apples are also highly recommended.

The food is wonderful and Brenda herself is the cure for a bad day. I don't think you could meet a better person with the cooking skills to match. I had an amazing experience.

Best small town restaurant in Shelby County! Brenda, the owner, is fantastic and the food is all your mama's favorite recipes. We are so thankful we found this hole in the wall place to eat and socialize with the locals.

Brenda is an absolute gem and is everything you want and expect in a small town diner. The building looks run down, but she's open 6 days a week and accepts cash only. Will be back!

Everything is wonderful at Brenda's, including Brenda. She is an absolute doll and funny as heck! She makes food like your Momma! If you are in Simpsonville, stop by!

Brenda's is like taking a trip back in time to the 1940's. Brenda Reid owwns and operates the small reatuarant by herself. She does all the cooking, cleaning, table waiting, dish washing, whatever - Brenda is just "it", all of it.
She serves a simple menu, with a different special every day. Her food is basic, cornbread and beans, meatloaf, green beans and mashed potatoes, and it is good - like your Mama cooked. Like the small town restaurants of yesteryear.
He clientele are people who earn their living the hard way, they work with their hands on farms and in factories. Thehy cone hungry for biscuits and gravy for breakfast and come back for lunch for somethng that will stick to your ribs.
And they get satified, with good old aulthentic country cooking, by one of the hardest working women in Shelby County.
I am proud to be her customer, she represents America like it used to be. A small business that has to work like hell to make it and must serve good food to keep her customers coming back repeatly.
It will be worth your time and willl please your palate to exereriece a meal lkie we old timers grew up enjoying.

Popped in for a quick breakfast... Ended up chatting with Brenda and some friendly local farmers. Not your typical cafe, but well worth the stop. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting genuine locals.
