My wife and I have been their a few times. The service great. Brenda is a country lady who has keep this restaurant great. She takes orders, she cooks, she cleans, and the best part is she will take time to talk and humor with you. One great lady indeed

Funky old school place with a fun owner. Brenda tells it straight and has her loyal customers. I had a good burger there for lunch and she does plate dishes. You have to know where the place is though--no sign out front.

Little home town place that has a "grandmas house" feel. This spunky little woman cooks what she cooks for the day and come and get it if you want some! Delicious homemade breakfast (pick your meat) everything else is already a given biscuits/gravy, eggs over easy and preserves. Loved this place and the little town family feel.

Awesome place and wonderful hostess/cook/owner. She tells ya what she's got, cooks it excellently, and entertains ya while ya eat it. It's where the locals hang out and solve the world's problems, just a jewel of a place. Be sure to try Brenda's homemade fruit preserves. Don't miss this place!

Small old-time feel? Check. Everyone knows each other by name? Check. Outrageously delicious plate lunch and burgers? Check.
If you want a home cooked meal made by Brenda herself, and you are near the Simpsonville exit, treat yourself and your family. Unbelievable.

Walked in and Brenda took our order and cooked my eggs and bacon exactly the way I requested.
Brenda is quite a cook and conversationalist. So it was good food and discussions.

A true southern eatin' spot! Fresh food home cooked. Don't expect all the bells and whistles. It's like home. You get what they got! But it's FRESH AND DELICIOUS!

Unique little gem of a place that my wife and I stumbled upon while on the road to Gatlinburg. Brenda was such a sweet lady, who made for some great conversation and even better home cooked food. We can't wait to go back!

The best "hole in the wall" place in the world! Farm fresh egg, meats, and sausage. Talk with the locals, self serve coffee, and drinks. HOMEMADE preserves! Her homemade apples are just like fried apples, peaches are some of the best I have ever had. Local farmers and horse trainers frequently at the table, sit and talk! The place is a dream come true! Thank you Brenda!
