Gramps Coffee & Donuts

OMG these are the best donuts I've ever eaten in my life! My daughter and son in law were raving about this place from the last time they were in Owensboro, So this time when we were in Owensboro we went over there. I met Gramps. He is absolutely the sweetest man ever! We went to get donuts and coffee. Sooooo delicious! We wanted to bring home donuts back to Florida. For my son in law and us too. Michael the sweet guy behind the counter was also so awesome! He also made us the BEST lattes I've ever had. He wrapped up the donuts really good for us to fly back home and was just so helpful and kind! I will definitely go back any time I'm there. You HAVE to try this place!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Wow the donuts! The best cup of coffee on this trip and great staff. I lived in this area 20 years ago, visit frequently. Staying on the Riverfront and going to Gramps will be how I do things from here on it. Great job, Owensboro!

On the first day, Gramps opened, I left a review and I'm going to leave another. I can't rave enough on how wonderful Gramps is. Their donuts are delicious, and so are their drinks. More than that, they have some of the best staff I've ever gotten to interact with. My husband and I go at least once a week and we are greeted like friends coming for a visit. The famous Gramps (Dennis) always takes a moment to talk with us. As well as the Amy (one of the owners) and the staff. They make you feel very welcome and important. Wherever life takes us, we will always take the time to stop in and see everyone at Gramps.

A ridiculously tasty donut selection paired with delicious coffee! This has to be the best donut/coffee shop in Kentucky!

Cute shop and the server was very nice. I didn't like what we ordered though. The donuts were dense and more greasy than your average donut. I wouldnt complain about that on its own, but besides that the coffee I got was SOUR, not bitter mind you, sour. I don't know if the milk was off or the coffee itself was, but I couldn't drink it. Unfortunately I had driven away before trying my drink so I didn't give them a chance to correct it. I won't go back here again because I thought it was average at best even if my drink wasn't spoiled, but I wouldn't necessarily say someone else wouldn't like it in better circumstances.

In town for a few weeks and stopped at this new gem of a coffee and donut shop! I got to enjoy the most delicious donut I’ve ever had along with a fresh cup of coffee in a super inviting atmosphere! 10/10 recommend and will be back again, thanks Gramps!

Why did it take Gramps so long to get here!!? Whatever batter they use for the donuts takes them to a whole new level..! Other places(no mention) use too much dough, not enough sweet goodness, but Gramps delivers 👏. My nephew lives in Bardstown and whenever he comes home he stops at Gramps for your delicious donuts! Highly recommended 👌 👍.

We tried this place and let's just say we wasn't a fan. The worse part was my husband's cold brew it was literally just coffee with ice..suppose to be vanilla cold brew but it was not drinkable to us there was no vanilla in it!!! My smore cold brew was somewhat drinkable I didn't get any sweet Cream or the marshmallow on top..And the donuts were dense and chewy. Im guessing that's how that make them which is fine we just didnt like them. The pictures makes you think flaky, light and airy...nothing like that. Only good flavor was the smores donut for me and the berry one for my husband. But I think we will just stick to our Rolling Pin from now on!

Came in town to visit relatives in Owensboro and was treated to this gem!! Honestly amazing donuts and great coffee. All the employees were genuinely kind, and dealt well with having all five of my crazy kids in a coffee shop, who were excited to be somewhere new. Plus the stickers from gramp himself, were obviously a bonus for them. My only sadness is that I don’t have one near me in St. Louis! So yummy!

Such a wonderful environment!! The donuts are delicious and there’s so much space to sit with friends and even set aside space to study if you’d like! The employees were so kind and this is truly a wonderful addition to Owensboro! You should definitely stop in!!
