Gramps Coffee & Donuts

We are always quickly greeted by the friendly staff. The donuts are amazing, our peanut allergy kiddo was able to enjoy them as well. We had teas and lemonades since we can't drink caffeine and they don't offer decaf espresso. Which is my only desire for this awesome place. The building, decor, and branding is great. Big back room perfect for studying, maybe even hosting a Bible study/small group here. 🤔

Gramps is THE SWEETEST! Couldn’t decide on a donut because they all look incredible 🤩 it’s rare to find a place that does more than one thing exceptionally well. Stop in for some coffee and a donut (or two!) you won’t regret it 🫶🏼

Legitimately the most incredible donuts I have ever eaten in my life, and that is not hyperbole. That statement comes from someone who’s had many donuts from many places for many years. I had their maple “sap” and The chocolate “goodness gracious.” I was there for only three days visiting my wife’s grandmother and found Gramps by happenstance on day one. I was there on days two and three! I was even a couple of minutes late for church because of it. Now when I visit Owensboro, I won’t just see my wife’s grandma; I’ll also see Gramps! Please 🙏 open one in SW Florida or overnight me a dozen! I’d happily pay for the shipping!

Friendly service, welcoming environment, great coffee, and amazing donuts! They also have their own small parking area, which is really convenient. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in town!

Great place for donuts and coffee. Very clean and inviting. Donuts are made on site and very good. Coffee is excellent. I highly recommend Gramps.

Worth rerouting our drive from Texas. I love donuts and these are outstanding. You not only see and taste the difference, you can feel the difference in the texture of the bite. Don’t even attempt to compare to a chain donut shop. These are unique and worth the effort to get to Owensboro.

If you are already in Owensboro and haven’t tried Gramps, you are missing something amazing.

We even got to visit with Gramps!! He makes the place. Super friendly - joy and love ooze from him like the fillings in the donuts. :)

If you are down on the riverfront, it is a very short walk. Go get a donut or a dozen or so.

I came here because I had heard great things from around the community, and I have to say, I was definitely impressed!

The coffee is smooth, great quality, and flavorful—hot or cold! I had the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and it wasn’t too sweet or too strong, just right!

And the donuts are astounding. They are a more unique dough texture for donuts—they are flaky and wonderfully soft. The Apple Cider Donut is a fall favorite, and tastes absolutely delicious.

I highly recommend giving it a try. Simple, cozy, and precise small local business!

I’m not going to lie, anytime I see a really aesthetic-looking coffee shop I expect good vibes but bad coffee. Not Gramps. Oh. My. God. As a self-professed pumpkin spice latte connoisseur I can say this place has the best one. Gorgeous interior and food and drinks to match. If you are a PSL fan like me, you are missing out.

My kiddos and I visited while in town for a dance competition. The coffee was great and the donuts were so delicious. I told my husband when he gets back from his Military school we would have to visit again.

Best coffee in town and the donuts are quite the treat to go with it! Also a good place to work in you WFH. There is also a small room in the back that can be reserved for meetings if you wish, no charge
