Oh my YUM! I love coming here when I visit. The food is amazing. Even simple food tastes exquisite.

A true bijou on the culinary landscape of the Northern Ohio River Region in the Old Washington neighborhood outside Maysville, Kentucky this brasserie and bistro is more than worthy of its intensely historical locale. The food fascinates and astounds. It serves hearty portions from locally sourced ingredients scored by the vibe of a country kitchen jumbled into the galley of every exotic schooner from every incredible Michener saga. The chef, Sean, is a clever combination of Bourdain's grit, Ina Garten's warmth, and Masaharu Morimoto's skill. Treat yourself to an exceptional brunch in a welcoming community at a place you won't soon forget, the LilJumbo Coffee Company. Cheers!

I pass through Maysville on my way to see my family often. I stopped by this cute little shop to give it a try. They were out of their oatmilk options which was a bummer. They ran into some supplier issues. The barista asked me if she could make a drink for me since I wasn't sure what I wanted. So I said yes. The drink was a bit too sweet and wasn't really my jam. So she remade me a regular latte with almond milk. I will say I don't like almond milk but it still tasted pretty good. I'm thankful the batista was so kind and patient with my anxiety and indecisive brain. The cinnamon rolls were so good! I will definitely be going back to try their coffee again as well as their regular food.

Great spot for breakfast or brunch and the best coffee in town. All food cooked to order and it is always good and consistent in quality. A true gem of a spot in a small town. Pictured is the Chorizo Hash.

My husband and I were traveling through the area and decided to make a stop for a late breakfast. LilJumbo had good reviews so we landed there.
The first thing I noticed was how beautiful the building was. As we walked in, I could hear the music playing (which is a fantastic mix) and could see the small line formed. All of the different artwork on the wall was the best.
I had a Chai Latte and biscuit and gravy and my husband had some juice and a sausage/egg biscuit, and we shared a cinnamon roll. Everything was delicious, perfectly hot, and fresh.
Something I noticed that was so interesting to me was the age differences. All ages were there enjoying the unique art, great music, and familiar faces. Sometimes particular styles seem to attract different age groups but this wasn't it. People just seemed to know each other, and even remembered previous orders of customers.
It was just comfortable. You should go.

Really delicious. Offered a variety of menu items including American and Mexican breakfast foods and cafe drinks and was in a well maintained historic building. Only didn’t give 5 stars because it was a pretty long wait, seems like they may need to hire a part timer to come in on Saturday mornings! But it is WELL worth the wait.

Got the grinder sandwich and it was great! (Also huge so plan to share!) I had called in a hurry on my lunch break and Sean fixed it up quickly for me which I appreciated so much. Also got a scone and it was delish! Thank you guys!

Coffee and food are good at this cafe in the Old Washington Historic District. If many people arrive at once it creates a longer wait.

Great place, atypical restaurant atmosphere, feels more like you're eating at a friends. Food was great, got the vegan hash and a dirty chai, both were delicious. Had to come back for the margherita pizza at lunch.
