coffee was good, baristas were very nice. If actually give this place a 4.5/5 if i could. but I really did not think the donuts were that good.

Background: I love donuts. These are probably the best donuts I have had in Louisville so far. Really good flavors and the apple butter filled was really good. The deltas: raised donuts felt like the dough was worked a little to hard (the dough was a little chewy), the cake donut tasted like it had a bit too much baking powder in it. All that being said I would still recommend this place.

Been here a couple of times off and on throughout the years, I've even held business meeting here before. Yesterday was lack luster though. The cinnamon donut was hard and flavorless, the hazelnut latte was equally flat in flavor and both the chick's at the counter were rude and short with my guest and I. ...but weren't rude to the white guests before or after us ... one was short and pudgy the other had oozing acne coming from her face/from around her mask. It was disgusting and it is unsanitary for her to be touching people's food and drinks.

North Lime has the best donuts I've ever had. Their donuts are a cake donut base, they tend to be fairly dense and hearty. They are fried at the right temperature so that they're crispy on the outside and soft in the center and not greasy at all. They have interesting flavors and always have a vegan and gluten free option in addition to their regular ones. I wish this location were more adventurous with their flavors like the ones in Lexington. Sometimes they miss the mark on their flavors (I bought 4 different donuts on Father's Day and was thoroughly impressed with 3 of them, but not the 4th), so you should try out more than one flavor and come more than once. That being said, while they open at 7am their specialty donuts (donuts of the day) are usually not ready until an hour and a half after opening time (why aren't their donuts all ready when they open like every other bakery???) and if they are short staffed they prioritize having someone man the espresso machine over making the donuts that they don't have, soooooo could be past 8:30 before their donuts of the day are ready, therefore calling ahead is the best idea if you're hoping to try one of their specialty donuts.

Very good donuts. They had good taste, weren't overly sweet, and had that nice chew on the edge with a fluffy inside. Can't wait for the Westport Village one to open

Customer service was top notch. Love the atmosphere and vibe in the shop as well. However the donuts themselves are very very heavy and greasy. I understand donuts are fried and I was probably asking for it when we decided to give it opportunity. But convenience and opportunity crossed paths and we have it a go anyways. The coffee was outstanding. Most likely will not return but not for any other reason outside of personal preference to lighter less greasy donut.

Excellent coffee. Bestest donuts -- they even have FRESH #glutenfree #donuts! All the hot or cold drinks you could want.
EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! Counter person didn't get flustered, worked quickly/efficiently and kept a smile despite the rush and out weird order amd special request.
Great indoor and outdoor seating. Social distancing is easy here. Service and quality are top notch!

Wonderful coffee and donuts. This is one of my favorite places to get coffee in Louisville. Also the best place to get donuts in Louisville they’re always fresh and tasting great. The locations in a good spot but not a great part of town but that’s all right. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. WONDERFUL!

Some of the best gluten-free Donuts I've had.
