North Lime Coffee & Donuts - Old Lou

The donuts here are really great, but I reckon I don’t go as much because it’s a little out of the way for me. The signage is unique and the building is gorgeous! The seating is really comfortable and the area tucked up and away in the back is like a sanctuary. There are a couple books in there that’d be excellent for studying. The coffee tends to be decent, but I guess I just find myself biased towards certain coffee companies.

Donuts & coffee are solid, nothing special but decent. If you only have donuts in your order, ordering online is fine but you will still have to wait in line. If you are ordering coffee don’t online order as they just wait to make it until you get up to the register and tell them you’re here. They happened to forget one of my drinks and the cashier and barista avoided looking me as I stood there for 10 minutes waiting for my second coffee before I finally asked and they made it. Not the best system in terms of drinks, of no fault to the barista seems like calling out the drinks from the cashier to the barista can be prone to the barista making mistakes or forgetting drinks. Ordered ahead 15 minutes before I got there and once I got there waited 20 minutes until I got all of my order.

Kayla is a LIFE SAVER!!! The delivery driver forgot our donuts and she did everything in her power to sort out the issue, when the delivery company wouldn't comply she brought the donuts herself to my event. I mean WAY more than she had to do that day, I'm grateful for her care and customer service. Plus the donuts were AMAZING! We will be ordering from this shop again.

Best donuts and coffee in Louisville. The staff here really seems to enjoy their work and they truly care about the companies products and the way the community views the company. They take care if the customer and go above and beyond to ensure quality and pride in the products they serve to the customers. Very nice place and would recommend over any other donut and coffee shop in the surrounding area.

Always amazing place. This is not any donut shop. They make everything from scratch. Full coffee selection. This down to earth hip atmosphere is great for trolling the internet, studying, re connecting with friends. I regularly use this location for business, friends and for me and my special lady. If your looking to try something new? Get yourself some donuts!

Best rustic coffee and donut shop in town. Hands down. Fresh and fantastic! Donuts pictured are cinnamon sugar and chocolate iced. I’m so glad this shop opened in Louisville considering I’ve made the trip to Lexington just for these donuts before.

I'm an out of towner from Maryland, visiting my in laws, and I'm truly happy to find this super cute place. The cinnamon sugar donut was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly!!!

I've been visiting this location for years, the donuts are typically delicious and the staff are helpful and friendly. The reason for the lack of stars is lack of consistency. I typically visit early in the morning, and I've arrived multiple times well after the advertised opening time to locked doors with no explanation. It's also a regular occurrence to arrive and find out none of the advertised specials are ready, and won't be for 30+ minutes. It's a shame for such a great spot, but I definitely second guess going these days.

Amazing donuts! Also, a very unique building and storefront. We will definitely come back the best time we are in town.

Great place to pick up donuts and coffee on Sunday morning. Funky vibe with great tunes. Everything fresh and addictively good. Can’t miss.
