North Lime Coffee & Donuts - Old Lou

Service is good and coffee is decent. They have a variety or donuts that are pretty good! We got the glazed blueberry in The Bourbon bail filled. Cold brew was good but I highly recommend light ice!

Went there early in the morning for some breakfast at 7AM. The ladies in there saw me ignored me and left without acknowledging I was there after knocking several times. This was 10 minutes open after there expected opening time. So if your time is precious don’t get there early in the morning.

Wow. This is just as good as Lexington location. Great 🍩 and coffee. Easy to find parking and plenty of seating inside. The door is on the end of the building away from the street.

The coffee is delish. The GF donuts are good. The building is cool but someone said to eat in another room and I couldn’t tell that there was another room.

One of my favorite places to stop and grab a donut and coffee with the dog. They always have interesting donut choices, including gluten free.

All Fav Banana Pudding mmmm due to Covid opens 7am so don't go too early not sure closing time thinking 5 pm. Hope this Helps.

Best fresh coffee and donuts Louisville! I have celiac and they go above and beyond with their gluten friendly, so I've never had a reaction. Highly recommend

Love North Lime!!! Their donuts are so good, dense but moist. Great speciality selection, but their classics are always good too. Highly recommend the glazed, monkey bread, and funnel cake!

Donuts were fresh and delicious. Hot chocolate was crafted beautifully. Really hoping to someday try the churro donut I saw on their Instagram page some day! Staff was friendly. Building was neat. The entrance is a little hard to identify, but thankfully a nice stranger pointed us in the right direction.

I lived in Lexington (where North Lime started) for years and became a die hard fan. When I moved to Louisville, I was excited to have a piece of my previous home there already, but I have been disappointed by Old Lou over and over. This morning, I ordered blackberry filled (my all time favorite) and what I got was absolutely nothing like what it should be. Instead of a jelly filled donut, this was filled with a purple icing that was cloyingly sweet and artificial tasting. I couldn't finish it, and I have another sitting in a bag that will probably get thrown away. If you can't make a well known product up to your own standards, don't make it, or call it something different. Also, despite ordering ahead, they didnt have my order ready when I arrived almost 10 minutes after the time it was supposed to be ready, and my drive there was almost 20 minutes. I still had to wait in line to pick it up. I would recommend going to the new Westport location in Louisville. I would have ordered there today, but the blackberry filled were out of stock, and I appreciate their honesty over being served a far inferior product.
