Old School Coffee

The quality of the coffee here is the best. I typically drink my coffee black and both the roasts they had available where absolutely delicious and full of flavor. If you're hesitant on trying black coffee, try some at Old School, you'll never go back. They also have a large assortment of different drinks and snacks as well as an awesome hip style area to hang out in. The people running this shop really do care about the quality of their product and customers.

Have been here a few times and my favorite thing about it is the service. The baristas are SO FRIENDLY. The coffee is great as well. I tried a few places during coffee week and the offering at Old School was my favorite by far (pistachios and cream... Yum!!). And of course, being in Dudley square it is an adorable location. Well decorated and very bright! I only wish there was more seating!!

This coffee shop is wonderful, such a great addition to the Downtown area near campus! I usually always go to Starbucks because local coffee shops are subpar, but not Old School. Their espresso is super strong and flavorful, the iced teas are smooth and yummy, and the small snacks are delicious. There's always students and professionals working in here because its such a welcoming environment (big windows provide amazing natural light). And the staff is so friendly. I've been to probably 10 different local coffee shops in Lexington and I've never left one a positive review online, so please do yourself a favor and visit this coffee shop!

Hands down the best coffee shop I've been a regular at. That comes from being a coffee shop enthusiast in Nashville & Denver. Not only is the environment of the coffee shop great, but the baristas are the friendliest, most welcoming I've ever come across. Amazing place.

I’ve been coming to Old School since they opened and it’s honestly my favorite coffee shop in Lexington. From the friendly staff, to the chill, trendy vibe, and the tasty goodies you really can’t beat it. I drive miles out of my way to drop by. You won’t regret giving them a try.

This little gem right here could become your favorite coffee shop in town easily. The place is well lit, conveniently located, and beautifully decorated. The coffee roasts are great and there's different flavor profiles to be had just in a black coffee. You should definitely give it a try.

I’m legitimately sad we don’t live in the area. The coffee was incredible, the service was great, and the atmosphere was both comfortable and cheerful.

If I could give Old School Coffee a 6/5, I would. I personally prefer very sweet coffees, but I wasn’t missing anything despite the coffee intentionally being less sweet. Rhett, the owner, told us that his goal is to move away from overtly sweet coffee such as what is sold at Starbucks and Dunkin. The rich flavors of his coffee are what’s missing from chain coffee houses, especially those that use sugar to make up for what they lack in flavor.

Old School Coffee is the coolest place with the yummiest lattes! It even has parking which makes it really easy to meet up with your friends. Better yet, a former Lafayette High grad opened the shop and other LHS kids helped decorate the interior! You will not regret trying this. The owner was so friendly! I will definitely be back!
