This place is a little tucked away gem! I wanted a nice, quiet place to read and enjoy coffee on a Sunday morning and that's what I got at Old School Coffee. It's not very big, but there was a nice, quiet corner with comfortable seating. And the coffee was good!

I’ve tried many different coffee shops in Lexington, and Old School is the place to go if you want amazing coffee and delicious baked goods. The staff are always incredibly friendly and super helpful.

Had an americano, house blend & an Old School Coffee #3 all in one visit (I don’t have a coffee problem- you do)- all were terrific. The owner, Rhett, volunteered his knowledge & made the experience a completely smooth and personable one. Go check them out & find the cup of joe that suits you best.

Lovely place! The drinks are a bit overpriced and there is not a ton of seating, but midweek it is the perfect place to sit down, sip some coffee and grind out some work. Glad they're in Lexington!

Their Lavender White Mocha is delicious, this is coming from a Starbucks barista. I love that they have opened their doors for dine in, so you can study and grab a cup of coffee. My favorite place thus far!

One of the BEST coffee shops in LEX! Why? Outstanding coffee and stellar service. Rhett, owner, takes great pride in sourcing the right coffee bean and teas (from Danville) for his customers. He is engaged with each person who walks in Old School. And, has created a welcoming and open environment for coffee and tea lovers to sit back with friends, hold a business meeting or do your own thing (at the long bar) and enjoy a cup of delight anytime between 6-2 pm every day of the week. There’s WiFi too, so bring your laptop and work away....if you want. Check out the drip of the day - which Rhett rotates out regularly. His specialty coffees like “The Teacher” or “The Coach” are mouthwatering. If you want something to go along with your cup of choice, he has Spaulding donuts and toasted bagels on deck. To top it off, the shop is in a former Lexington city school from way back in the day! This place is a MUST visit. Go and enjoy all that it offers. You will not be disappointed.
