Old School Coffee

Pretty good coffee in an old school giving a different cafe experience than the average third wave shop. The building is shared, but cafe customers can be seen sitting around the hallways and outside using laptops or reading. Definitely a good spot for a cup but even better if you need a quiet place.

A nice coffee shop tucked inside the old city school building. Great atmosphere, great espresso drinks, excellent dark roast coffee.

This place is always packed to the gills. It's a really cool location and a great spot to hang out and get some work done. My go to is the Dropout and it's typically pretty solid, but when it comes to a straight espresso or drip I personally am not a massive fan of their coffee blend. My only other complaint is that there is often no seating room due to how busy they stay.

Old School makes a mean latte! The quality of their coffee is just great. You can really tell the difference. Plus, they have all the milk alternatives.

It's a hip joint right by UK, complete with studying college students. Tables are spaced out enough to be safe. Speaking of safe they maintain a 100 inspection rating.

The coffee and drink choices were amazing! I had the Counselor - very smooth and not too sweet. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Lots of different choices of seating which I really feel helps to cater to a diverse crowd. Easy to walk to from campus.

This coffee shop is so pretty! The building is old and beautiful and the decor inside is so simple and nice. Love the old school specialties. Lots of good flavors to choose from. I got an iced school house #3 and it's really good! The guy working was really nice and friendly and kept everything meticulously clean between customers. I'll definitely be coming back!

I had very high expectations where this place gets almost 5 star reviews, but truthfully the iced coffee I got was horrible. It was so bitter and watered down I almost couldn’t drink it. It wasn’t just me either, I had 3 friends with me and we all got iced coffees, the caramel macchiato, the student, the counselor, and the teacher. They just weren’t good at all. BUT I will say this place is really really cool, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was also really friendly. Maybe just try something besides the iced coffee.

This place is absolutely adorable. Nice location, great menu, chill staff. I’ve been back multiple times before my appointment at The Massage Center of Lexington during the week, and after yoga classes on the weekend. Tons of seating. Gentle, quirky, and fun music. The decor is reminisce of a cute school house - light and simple.
