Well, there are a lot of great reviews about this restaurant, but my experience with this place earned them a 1 star review. I had placed an online order at 1:23PM on the way there. In my order, I ordered 1 Funkfetti, 1 Glazed cake, 3 Regular glazed, 1 Cinnamon sugar, 1 hot vanilla latte and 1 Caramel Macchiato. In my purchase of the online order, I included the details of my car color and type. I had noticed that when I first arrived at the donut place, the there were no cars there, but were many while I was waiting that came and went. There were about 14 people between curbside order pickups and orders delivered to vehicles that were received before my order. It was 1:40PM and I wanted to just give them 15 more minutes to let them give me my order, I though that was very generous. I was still mad that I had not yet received my order, while everyone else was so cheery and delighted as they received their orders before me. Everyone that received an order before me had got there after me, let that sink in. I had tried twice to get their attention while they were heading back inside to let them know my situation. I felt like they didn't know I had placed an order. I finally went up to the order station to tell them my situation, since they didn't acknowledge me when I was sitting in my car. I had my card in hand to get a refund, as I paid already. I told the girl that I've been waiting for over a half an hour to receive my order. She simply just told me that I had needed to text them that I had arrived! I was the only car there at first, they knew my vehicle type. It was like she was implying it was all my fault that I had too wait so long to get my order. Even if it was, I could have at least got an extra donut for free, for my inconveniences. She went back in to get my donuts, came out and gave them to me, and said the coffees were just now being made I didn't believe this because when I got the coffees the Iced one was almost warm! The hot one was about room a bit above room temperature! As if it was microwaved to imitate being freshly made because it sat out for about 20 minutes I'd say. Also, two of the donut types I got had the displays of those types pulled away, as if they were out 9f those two types of donuts, which were Cinnamon sugar and Regular Glazed. But I got them anyway. Probably because they were already reserved for me and they sold out of the rest and couldn't give those away because I already ordered and paid for them. I also believe it to be a pitiful excuse to say that I should have texted them to receive my order. I was there for that long, they could have came up to my vehicle to figure out what my issue was. I won't be back until they fix the issue I had. Their excuses were not appropriate. I had to write this review over again, just letting you know, because it was erased when I accidentally clicked go back instead of the backspace button on my cellphone. Please be more courteous to customers, North Lime Coffee and Donuts.

My favorite donuts in the city. Why I like their changing selection of specialty donuts (change daily, weekly, seas only), the plain glazed is probably my favorite. Coffee is great and their specialty coffee drinks are delicious too. Parking can be a little tight in the morning on weekend, but that's just a testament to how popular they are.

This morning we went to grab a donut from North Lime Donuts after church. We knew the shop would be closing in 45 minutes by the time we got there but did not think anything of it. We walked in and the girl cleaning tables goes “You know we’re out of donuts.” (Said with an attitude like we should know that). We would have stayed for just coffee but the girl who spoke to us didn’t even offer it and was rude to us like she didn’t want us there. Normally I would give them five stars but how is a customer supposed to know a shop would run out of donuts almost an hour before closing? Let alone why wouldn’t a shop make enough to sell product through their closing time (even if it is just their “core” flavors). I know that might mean throwing some out but do what’s right for your customer.

We really enjoyed these donuts!!! I bought a variety of different ones and they were all delicious! Although we didn't sit, we plan on doing that next time! They were packed and staff was kind and very quick!!!

The glazed donuts are amazing! Reminds me of beignet's from New Orleans just glazed instead of covered in powered sugar. Totally addictive! Coffee was good too.

They have do have great donuts but be sure to be there no later than an hour after they open if you plan to get anything. Your one job is to make donuts so you’d think they would want to have them there during all your hours of operation.

This is my favourite coffee in town, and also donuts. I love taste them when they are still warm. You can see how they made them and the smell go to your car because leaves the place. A large variety of expresos and syrups, so every day you can enjoy a diferent flavor of coffee and made every day unique. My first time there I thought "they are so perfect that they make donut with square shape to fit them perfectly in the box". Ummmmm. Yummmmmmy

This is a cozy coffee shop. The chocolate mocha was awesome...the set up is like Starbucks where u can watch them make the coffee drink for you, but this place is way more unique and has more character. Plenty of room to sit and work on your laptop or what have you. I only wish they had more of a variety of non coffee drinks.. but hey it IS a coffee shop!

I tried this place for the first time today. I rarely write reviews, but I have to say these are the worst donuts I’ve ever tasted. $20 down the drain. The donuts have the weirdest taste and I honestly have no idea why this place is so popular. We’ll stick with Spaldings, Franks and even Krispy Kreme.
