A Cup of Common Wealth

Three of us got coffee, and all three were mediocre to terrible. Dark brew really didn't taste like anything, as if it was brewed wrong, and my vanilla latte didn't have any flavor either. Tasted like straight iced half and half. Fun atmosphere though and plenty of space to sit and hang out or work.

Absolutely fantastic. Just moved to Lexington and this was our first coffee stop. Griffin was so nice, helpful, and welcoming. The coffee was delicious, and we'll be back!

Classic Kentucky Coffee, Comfortable place to chill. Friendly and good. Caution watch out for the construction and hostile parking space hawks in Lexington, they will ruin the best brew if they can. don't give em a chance.

Love the concept of paying it forward this place has going. Excellent coffee, especially their cold brew, which is one of my favorites in town. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Take it from a coffee snob, this is the best coffee in town. Baristas know how to pull a good shot. They have single origin espresso that's always changing. They offer sparkling water with espresso shots. The baristas are super friendly. This place is legit. Best in Lexington for sure!

On the morning of Sunday the 16th of July 2017, my sister's Ira,Tammy,Bridgette and my brother in law J.P. visited A Cup Of Commonwealth coffee shop. The service was excellent. They served us with a smile and it didn't take long at all for our orders to be filled. The coffee was lousy. It was weak and tasted watered. I ordered the same as I always order," the stongest coffee you have with 2 shots of Expresso W/whip cream" Yuck!!! Mind you I only drink coffee when Tammy and J.P. visit from Louisville which is about 6 or 7 times a year and we always go to 3rd Street stuff on limestone,so I am not even close to being a expert at coffee but the rest of the crew said the same and they had different types of coffee. We won't go back there anymore and I felt embarrassed that I took my guest to that shop.

I've been coming here on and off since the first time they open their doors, I cant believe it took me this long to write a review. I absolutely love the mocha frapp. The owners are so nice and are all about the community

Amazing staff, great drinks, and such a friendly atmosphere. A Cup of Commonwealth is Lexington at it's very best! I love this shop and will always recommend it.

Delightful little place. They do pour overs and their Ethiopian brews are perfect. Good vibes and beautiful crowd. Easily one of the better coffee shops in the city.

Love this place, it a great cup of coffee. The people as ND staff are always so nice and warm. I enjoy the outdoors just across the road from their side.
