Good tea latte drinks and sandwiches. Friendly staff. Cute quirky spot with a focus on building community around sustainability. Will definitely be back!

Stopping by to try this new coffee shop in town, I felt like I was cheating on my first love- TEA. In the last couple of years, I have started to acquire a taste for good coffee so when I saw this place pop up on yelp, I made sure to give it a try. Walking in, I noticed the bare minimum decoration that others have noted. The place can definitely use a bit more decorative touch but their friendly staff members definitely make up for what was missing. I enjoyed being welcomed right away by both people behind the counter. They very friendly and genuine. They talked to me about their "pay it forward" board which I think is a great idea. Next time I come, I might put a friend's name on the board to get them try this place. For this visit, I ordered a small cappuccino and a small cinnamon apple breakfast muffin, though it was already well into the afternoon. The muffin was the right size snack to go with the perfectly prepared coffee. I didn't have any complaints. I hope they start having a few more options of small baked goods, because everyone would enjoy something sweet with a great cup of coffee!

Drinks were amazing, scone was delicious, and our barista gave us several suggestions when asked about good lunch places! Definitely coming again if I visit Lexington

Great coffee and avocado toast! Friendly and attentive staff. They are working hard during the pandemic to meet all the guidelines, so seating is limited right now, and the main entrance was not where I expected it to be because of how they flow people through with separation. It was well worth any confusion on my part, and seating across the street in the park was nice.

My father and I have a morning tradition of trying new coffee shops around town whilst engaging in conversation. Today we discovered A Cup Of Commonwealth. Out of the many coffee spots in Lex. we have tried, this so far this is our favorite. The coffee itself was awesome. The baristas made the near perfect vanilla latte, which is our drink of choice no matter where we go. On top of the amazing coffee, the baristas were very friendly, the t-shirt selection was nice but would have liked there to have been more options available in large bc I’m chubby now lol The best part of the experience was walking across the street to enjoy the coffee at a table and chairs under the trees in Thoroughbred Park while also watching the cars pass by on Main Street. We support local and this is definitely a great local coffee spot that should not be missed.

They have one of the best cold brews in town and their curbside service is so personal and friendly. I would ask that they find a way to stop using straws or switch to something more eco-friendly (at least until we can all bring in our own mugs again). Keep up the great work!

Such a lovely place to go study, read, meet with friends, and they allow your furry friend to accompany you! There is metered street parking but often they will have coins you can add to the meter to extend your stay. The staff are so friendly and will learn your name and remember things about you if you go often. And the coffee is excellent of course! Highly recommend. Also, visit their sister shop Chocolate Holler!

I had the best coffee I've had in a long time. And the tiny taco was the perfect breakfast bite.

The perfect brew experience, that I had and will probably never have again. I did a chemex slow pour and that is a process. I waited patiently as she poured the water in stages with care and great detail, about 7 minutes, and she walked over and kindly handed me the coffee on a tray. I walked to the car and decided to slowly take my first sip thinking I was going to have to wait to drink my coffee due to the temperature being extremely hot which always seems to be the case. To my surprise it was the perfect temperature for drinking, no waiting needed except for the slow brew time and it was a mild less acidic brew in my opinion. Wish I had coffee shops like this in my neighborhood.

Absolutely loved this small coffee house. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the shops only found in Seattle, and that's a good thing. Indie music played was playing when I walked in, and many people were sitting and chatting while others read books and worked on laptops. Loved it. The magic beans coffee is also top notch. I will definitely be back. Thanks again Mike!
