Coffee Mood
The staff here are wonderful and I especially love the wall that gives you a chance to purchase a cup of coffee for someone, or to receive a free cup of coffee from someone. I do wish there was better parking and more room for seating, but I understand that downtown amenities can be severely limited in a red state; Especially for an establishment with such a pleasantly bohemian atmosphere.

It's small but makes it cozy. They are super friendly here and the drinks are really good. It's a good place to study or meet friends for coffee.
If you haven't been yet you should go, and support your local businesses! You won't be disappointed.

Pretty good lattes, nothing amazing. The flavors were subtle; we had the white chocolate latte and pumpkin latte both with nut milk. The staff was helpful and very friendly! I love their 'pay it forward' wall.

This place was absolutely amazing. A cup of coffee compared to Starbucks was cheaper and without a doubt tasted better!! Last Saturday I was having a terrible day because my car broke down right across the street by Thoroughbred Park. Me and my girlfriend have been trying to jump my car for at least 45 minutes and nothing would work and I forgot to mention that it was down pouring outside. We were so wet and cold and decided to go get warm in this coffee shop. It was a clear shot from the window of the shop to my car. They asked how my day was and I had to say that my car broke down and it won’t start so we are waiting for AAA, which took about an hour. We gave them our order and she said “This one is on us, and I hope your day gets better”. And that was so nice of them and it made my day so much better. They not only had amazing coffee but also the 2 ladies there were incredibly nice and were very thoughtful. I will indeed keep coming back with out a doubt.

Friendly, kind customer service. Lots of different kinds of brews from brew shine to kyota (drip coffee). Though those weren’t ready when I was there so I purchased a mocha which was delicious!

Quite honestly one of my most favorite places in the world. Everything is consistently excellent, and the wonderful baristas are more than happy to take any suggestion, anytime. Best people ever. They care deeply about their community, the community of Lexington, and beyond. 100% authentic. They provide ethical and sustainable goods as often as they can, and all their coffee is organic and fair trade.
During Covid, you can easily go inside to safely order, or you can grab curbside at the side door. There is ample seating across the street in the park, and you can still get great wifi connection out there if you want to safely work but need a little time out of your house. All the love to Cup of Commonwealth!

Absolutely LOVE this little shop. Cute, Quaint, and full of purpose and generosity. These were all things I felt as I walked in and things that I walked out with!! I love local shops that are as concerned about the bean as they are the community. Beans are just beans without people. Great job guys!! When we’re in town you will be a staple!

Oh boy, this place has been my caffeinated rock through many a busy workday and late stay at the office. The baristas and staff are excellent, outgoing, and extremely knowledgeable about the products they serve. It's always an absolute pleasure to get a cup of coffee from A Cup of Commonwealth and I'm excited to witness their growth!

To be clear, I totally went inside. I was passing through and desperately searching for a coffee shop, the (no r in this spelling) reviews looked good so I headed there. The full size rainbow flag that covered the window, that didn’t exist but I must have made up to make it seem like I respect other people and their viewpoints, had been removed. Then I took hold of the door and misread a sign that actually said “Immigrants and Refugees Welcome Here” and decided to not go on a rant about it on the Internet. The coffee was delicious, the staff was wonderful, and I didn’t have to drive another 2 miles so I wasn’t contributing any more to the climate change that is endangering Americans, elderly, orphans, veterans and most importantly Bro Tim Morgan.

Very welcoming young male barista (sorry should have asked your name). Awesome coffee cake and chai tea, just a bit disappointed that I had just as much foam as tea which made my tea fill only half the cup ☹, but no harsh feelings. Will definitely be back. They have some interesting sandwiches on the menu.
