I was surprised at how delicious the brew batch of coffee was. That coupled with the quiet, spacious atmosphere made my experience quite enjoyable.

My wife and I stopped here on Wednesday Oct. 19 2022 passing through from Atlanta, GA to Michigan. The coffee was great and the person who took our order was pleasant. We were a little tired and wished we would've been more talkative to him. We usually like sharing our stories with those we come in contact with on the road.

they make it very hard to want to shop small when it takes literally 32 minutes to get a small iced coffee and bagel with cream cheese. don’t come here expecting to be in and out

I ordered a grilled cheese and an oat milk cubano macchiato. The sandwich was delicious and the drink was easily the best espresso beverage I have ever had. Definitely would recommend this spot! 10/10 for a chill and welcoming atmosphere as well. Everyone should visit Folktale!

Great coffeehouse! Lots of space and seating to spread out. Pulled off the freeway for a break and guided here by searching for "coffee" on Google maps. Ordered an Americano with room for cream. Barista was a pro. I inquired about the origin of their baked goods, and he said all were baked in house. So, I bought a cookie. The Americano was perfect. Not too strong, not bitter, with a tiny hint of sweetness, and smoooth! Best Americano I have had in a long while. I also noticed they had London Fog under their tea section. Don't see that every day. I was there about 10 min before closing, but barista said I could hang out. (Nice bathroom too. ) As a bonus, on the way north out of downtown back to the freeway, I passed by the first Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. So got out and took a photo.

I had moved away from Corbin over 3 years ago. Then this place was named you, me, coffee & tea. So we thought while we were in town vivisting family we would give this place a try under a new name. We both got lattes. These were the best lattes we have gotten in a very long time. The staff was extremely friendly. We will definitely be back when visiting town.

We had lattes, vegan tacos, and avocado toast. All excellent! Love the atmosphere and service. We love stopping here on our way from Michigan to Asheville. Thanks for having vegan options♡♡♡♡.

Love this coffee shop. Located on the corner so they have small outdoor seating in front & down the side of the cafe. The atmosphere is great inside. They have fun art work on the walls that I believe are done by local artists. It’s an ideal place for meeting clients or friends because it’s not too loud so you’re not competing with the music to have a conversation. You could also take your laptop & work if you needed. Of course it smells fantastic with the combination of coffee & baked goods. I usually get a café au lait. Sometimes I get a special blend. It’s always been brewed perfectly, never bitter. The baked goods I’ve tried are delicious. They make almost everything in house. I love their blueberry muffins & their plain bagels. If you like cream cheese on your bagel you should ask for extra, especially if your getting it to-go. There’s usually only enough for half of a bagel unless you like it spread very thin. I love to visit different coffee shops when I’m traveling. Folktale is by favorite.

Heard about this place from a lot of locals and then met the owner’s wife and she told me about their Saturday brunch from 9 am to 2 pm. I called ahead of myself to make sure of the times and sure enough I had it correct. I am totally into local offerings and stuff sourced from local regional growers and these guys use coffee made in America a state or so over and brew their expresso and coffee in the traditional Italian style that dates back to the 1600s in Europe. Anyways, enough rambling their place is set up very nicely in an old traditional downtown Main Street setting which is where I love to find these kinds of shops.
I had Avocado toast and the presentation was excellent it was like edible art I was able to eat. I love stuff that is presented well and I also partook of a Hazelnut Latte and the presentation and taste were both excellent.
My partner had a biscuit with strawberry jam freshly baked and was surprised that it was flaky and sourdough which I shall have to try next time. He also had a mocha and commented that it wasn’t the usual he had been used to from other coffee makers but better.
So give this place a try if you stop through Corbin.

Glad we found this local hole in the wall. The pan cakes was fantastic. We had the drip which is just good old coffee and I swear it was some of the best I've ever had. My wife and I plan on making this a regular place when we go out for breakfast.
