Root Coffeehouse & Creperie

What a wonderful coffee shop. Great atmosphere, great service, and amazing coffee and crepes! We spent a nice slow morning enjoying time with friends. It is a really neat building! I tried the Bourbon Carmel Latte and the Bananas Foster Crepe—neither disappointed! I would honestly get them again, but there is so much more I want to try too! Highly recommend giving them a try.

This place was seriously amazing. The building is really neat, loved the tile floor and the tin ceilings! Staff was very nice and helpful as we hadn't been in before. And then the crepes. SO good! We had the berry one and the French toast and they tasted as good as they looked! They're also a good size so you should be full when finished. Would definitely be a good atmosphere to hang out and study or read in as well if looking for a place like that. Make plans to stop in! Coffee was also good - has a hot latte called "the dingo" and it was delicious.

Went for a walk and after we dropped in for an espresso frappe and the new savory Canadian bacon frappe - wow! Great food, coffee and service.

Overall great atmosphere. Very good crepes and drinks. Friendly staff, clean area, and bathrooms.

I didn't have any food on this visit, the menu items sound yummy tho. I hadn't been here in quite a while bc it was initially so cramped and crowded. This time after all of the renovations is just fantastic. I will definitely be stopping in more often.

We stopped in when passing through and the barista was very helpful and friendly, suggesting delicious drinks. The crepes were phenomenal! And if we ever have the opportunity to go back through town again, we'll definitely stop back in!

I love the atmosphere here! They have so many good drink options and their crepes are delicious!

The staff was really nice, and the drinks where on point, plus it's a locally owned business. With these uncertain times, its nice to shop local.

Crepes are great, customer service is always friendly, great place to go when visiting our son at PSU.

Gluten free crepes were delicious!
