Long lines Saturday morning, out the door (probably due to the recent grand opening and positive news coverage). I saw many drinks waiting in the "order ahead" pickup area, so I recommend that if you aren't interested in hanging around. We enjoyed the leisurely wait.

We got the 1/4 and 1/2 moon lattes. The 1/4 was just right for me (I got it with whole milk instead of the default skim) and was able to taste the lovely sweetness of the milk while also enjoying a coffee flavor. The 1/2 moon was too sweet for my liking and reminded me of a sugar-heavy carmel/vanilla latte at a big-chain coffee shop, but still good if you like that kind of thing.

Update: I tried the online order feature and that worked super great. The plain drip coffee was not very good to my pallet. But maybe it was a bad batch.

Great coffee. Amazing frosted sugar cookies. Too loud. Seems to be a common thing for coffee shops. Music is too loud.

Funnily enough I actually discovered Summer Moon in Oklahoma City, it was sooo good. I immediately did some googling to see if there was one in the KC metro and I was so excited to see that there was! I'm low key obsessed with the moon milk and the coffee is super good.

*Please read the whole thing* I just discovered this place about a month ago and have been about five times since (I live 35 minutes away thankfully or it would be way higher). I have gotten an iced 1/2 moon latte every time. The espresso and moon milk tastes AMAZING. And for that, 5 stars all the way.
However, I do have a complaint. I’m not deducting a star because the coffee is just too good to do so. But, I have found that they are very inconsistent with how much moon milk and skim milk is actually poured. I have yet to really know what a 1/2 moon latte should actually taste like. I like mine to be be sweet but not over powering. I have had it to where it is border line too sweet and ones where I can barely taste any moon milk at all.
I think there can be such an easy fix if Summer Moon printed measurement lines for moon milk onto their cups. One for 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 that way there is a consistency. Either way, I will continue to come when i’m willing to make the drive!

Very clean, nice ambiance, and staff went above and beyond. I asked for cold Nitro brew with their special "snickerdoodle flavoring " they were excited to try to make it and said " if you don’t like it bring it back and we can make you something else". Now that's great customer service 😀. I loved it so good !!! Must try gingerbread coffee too.

This is the best coffee shop on earth. It felt like heaven! I absolutely love there coffee. If I could give more stars I would..! Personally I love a good strong coffee with a good amount of sweetness and this place just levels it out for me. I really love the mocha moon latte and my husband loves the frozen hot chocolate. We live about 45 minutes away and it’s absolutely worth the drive! Love love love this place!!

Excellent atmosphere and ever better friendly customer service. The girl who helped us explained everything well so we could understand what made the company stand out and even let us sample the moon milk so we knew what to expect and how much of it we thought we wanted. Great coffee, tea and service. We will be back!
