Aladdin Cafe

I love this place. They have some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. Very authentic and amazing. My favorite is the eggplant parmesan sandwich.

My favorite cafe in Lawrence. Their food is amazing, especially the lintel soup. The rose water lemonade is outstanding. The Gyros are delicious and don't get me started on the hummas. The staff are always very nice, the place is always clean and well maintained. Idk what else to say, its a great place and you should try it.

Fantastic. Maybe the best Mediterranean food that I have ever eaten. Certainly, I have never had better. Ordered: Hummus, Aladdin's Gyro, Lentil Soup, Beef Biryani, Chicken Kabob, and Baklava.

SERVICE: A+

Alex was extremely friendly and kept our water glasses filled while checking in regularly.

AMBIENCE: B

The decor is not luxurious, but the space is clean, the booths are comfortable, and the atmosphere is quiet enough to easily carry on a conversation.

OVERALL: A+

Nice atmosphere maybe a little too dark I could barley read the menu I had to use a flashlight did was very very good food I was very impressed

Everything was very fresh and tasted home cooked. The flavors were not familiar to me, especially the rose rice pudding, so expect spices and flavors that are not what you are used to. But that makes it an adventure, and I had fun and knew I had a tasty meal that was healthful. I'd go again. The pita and hummus were very unique and very good, btw. Very nice and helpful wait staff.

If you like hummus, grilled chicken and vegetables, and the best pita in town, you've got to try their Petra Platter. Be prepared to have a second meal to take home, especially if you have the Lentil Soup that is one of your choices with the meal. It's one of Lawrence's hidden gems. Great service and great food!

The buffet was amazing!! Beautifully designed!!! Our waitress was attentive!!! Please bring back the cinnamon tea!! I have heard it was wonderful!! They had just took it off the menu till fall 2 days before we were there. Was going to try the tiramisu but they were out. The rice pudding was wonderful! The filafel was excellent!! I had seconds on about everything! Can't wait to go back!!

My son, his friend, and I came in just before closing and were greeted with open arms! The young lady who waited on us was very polite and put up with my son and being a bit hyper and was ever gracious when part of her tip was in change. (My son paid his portion of his bill with his own money and didn't plan accordingly.) The food was lovely and the Turkish coffee was AMAZING.
