Butterfly Cafe

If you're a pilot in the high plains area, you'll be hard pressed to find a more delicious $100-burger (to the non-aviators, the food is very reasonably priced and delicious). I remember hearing that at one point, the owner was up around 0430 to get pie made for the day. I'm not sure if that's still the case, but as others have said, this cafe is worth the drive from the highway.

What a great find! We're so glad we took the time to locate this place! There is very little signage for this gem of a local eats spot. We used the exhaust fan on the roof to spot this place from outside the terminal and it was such good food and very reasonable prices. Home made biscuits and I'm sure made from scratch gravy. The hash browns were not greasy and even the toast was arranged in a pinwheel. If you are ever in Goodland, Kansas and want a good, home cooked breakfast or lunch, make the trip to the airport and you'll be rewarded!

Simple food at an affordable price. Something that seems to be harder and harder to find. Every time I have stopped by the Goodland airport I have made sure to stop by and get at least a piece of pie from The Butterfly Cafe. If I call ahead I can be guaranteed to have a whole pie I can take home with me. My party just ordered 11 whole pies...they are that good.

A bit out of the way from the interstate but well worth the few extra couple of minutes. The double cheeseburger is huge and very tasty. Friendly staff.

Very clean, friendly, place with affordable prices! I haven't had a breakfast that good in a long time! Tasty, very Little oil is used!

Friendly, fast service, warm food and delicious pie. Excellent place for a quick bite before a turnaround flight. Will return.

Waited over an hour for food. Two tables ahead of us still hadn't got their food don't know how long they had been waiting. They had a 13 people table and acted like it was the end of the world. Walked out.

Hard to find, but worth finding. This is a small restaurant right at the airport. The other customers were all locals. Good diner food!

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The hamburger was the same of Walmart's Great Value buns. I wasnt impressed. I could of got the same thing at home.
