IHOP

I made a to go order and was told.it would be ready within ten minutes got there to get it after 12 minutes of ordering then was told it was going to be another 15 minutes that they were packaging it. I also asked what time they closed and I was told 9pm but then the person behind us asked and they told them 10. The service here is horrible. I regret coming here to eat.

We had a mistake,it happens, but the manager was absolutely friendly, professional & took care of it!😁

I frequent the IHOP Restaurants all over the states and have visited on multiple occasions different locations, because I love IHOP but I hate the Garden City Location! I've even heard other patrons complaining while waiting for service or food. My orders have always come out wrong as well as the other customers in the restaurant. I've spoken with other patrons while waiting and even they say that this location is the worst IHOP they have ever been too. Today Feb 8th 2019 will be my last time coming to this location. Don't expect a greeting when you walk in either, and Unless you know someone who works there, don't hold high expectations of anything! #SorryNotSorry

Service was horrendous. The wait staff wasn't knowledgeable about the daily deals. My children where treated like third rate citizens if that. And when we brought the attention the manager they acted like we were still in the wrong even though we proved that we were right according to their own poster at the door. Now l remember we don't go there.

In my own personal experience of working at IHop was absolutely terrible. When I came in for a job interview the hiring manager barely interviewed me, he didn't ask the specific questions needed for an interview. I applied for dishwasher and was assigned as hostess and server. The service may be good at IHop but the amount of disrespect the waitresses and hostess had while working was completely unbelievable. When I decided to quit my job because another job offer came up, I talked to the manager about resigning and the manager didn't even bother to know my name the whole entire time I worked at IHop. That showed me that my employer didn't have any respect for me as a employee to even remember my name, nor did I have a break to at least eat. Don't get me wrong, when it comes to working I do my best to work hard, but I was absolutely miserable standing on my feet for 5 hours straight and not being able to sit down once. Although, this job had thought me to be more open minded and more comfortable talking to people but I wouldn't recommend working here.

While visiting IHOP we noticed a few things. We came in around 7 and immediately was greeted by to employees arguing about who was going to take the next table. There was a young girl who was our waitress and she seemed to get the short end of the stick. Everyone seemed to be bringing her things to do while she obviously had tables. Who I assume was the shift manager stood around with a frown on her face and watched as people needed an assortment of things. When she addressed the employees it was in a very rude manner. Also, other employees seemed to be giving orders to staff on things to do and arguing instead of just doing the task themselves. Would NOT recommend for a pleasant or even descent dinning experience.

Food was overall good.

Our food came out quickly, and the service was good. My BLT had overcooked, but cold, bacon. I ordered the jr chicken and waffles for my toddler expecting it to at least resemble the picture. The chicken was basically a long skinny nugget, not a chicken strip. I tried a bite and apologized to my son for making him eat it. The waffle was not even warm, and it was very dry. I don't eat at IHOP often, and this trip just reminded me why.

Overall the staff and food was good. However, yall need to learn how to cook hashbrowns. They shouldn't still be raw in the middle. If you'd actually cook them instead of just slapping them on the grill and leaving them they'd be cooked.

The only way to have food delivered is to have to create and account(not happy), then you cannot put details on order. When I called I talked to someone who could not speak English very well and hard to understand. I will start making sure that my money is spent in palaces that appreciate it.

Bad service we came to eat here one night and the manager was really disrespectful and rude to my father who nicely asked the waiter if we can have another table in the back we’re we usually sit and he said no we are going to be seated in the table where we are so we just left that place never again going to this disrespectful place I suggest not eat here. And the waiter that took our table should be fired
