Wyman's Spudnuts

We were in town for a wedding and swung by with our whole fam of 10 people. The donuts are literally the best I’ve ever tasted in my life. Which is enough for 5 stars, but beyond that everyone is so incredibly nice. The owner let the kids play with the dough and watched him make them. So nice!

Donuts were delicious & very fresh. (They make them right there.) They were so nice about letting our kids watch them cutting dough and frosting our order and even gave them dough to play with. Cute little shop with some indoor and outdoor seating! We'll definitely be back!

The best doughnuts I've ever had (and I've had a FEW)! Make sure to get some donut holes and their signature maple bacon donuts. You won't regret it.

(Coffee is drip from Caribou, nothing to write home about, but not bad. I wouldn't say this is THE place for coffee, but if you need to get some with your delicious donuts, it's there.)

These donuts are the best I have ever had! So fluffy and fresh! And the people are so friendly! The reason that I knocked off two starts is because the cinnamon twists and puffs are just AWFUL! They have the consistency of a bagel, and they leave a chemical aftertaste in your mouth! Gross. I was so upset that I had spent so much money and an hour of my life for a box of inedible pastries. (My entire family each took a single bite, then threw the rest away.) Stick to the donuts, however, and you will be extremely satisfied!

This place will be my downfall.
Seriously. Some of the best donuts I’ve had, and the line totally shows it. People wait for days. Maybe not days, but certainly awhile to get these suckers warm. Personal favorite is the maple. Ride 20 miles on your bike and they taste even better.

Very comfortable, homey feel to this donut shop. The donuts were extremely good with a large selection of day-olds if that's what you're into. They could offer a wider selection of coffee/beverages to improve, but the main purpose of the shop is the donuts and they were fantastic.

Great doughnuts constantly been made fresh. I think the doughnuts are especially good when they're still warm. The lines can be long on weekends but they're much shorter during the week. They also serve Caribou coffee which my wife loves.

Found a list of Iowa's Best Donuts a while back and Wyman's is on that list. Finally was in the area for work and had to stop and grab a couple, two three, donuts. I ended up getting four because I couldn't control myself looking through the glass case. Had to get a classic glazed, the bismark looked great, the friendly and helpful employee convinced me - and the guy behind me in line - to try a cinnamon ball, and I had to get the obligatory maple glazed. All were amazing, fresh and HUGE. Anything with maple glaze is my favorite, and this one did not disappoint! I don't know when, but I will be back!

I had to opportunity to try my first Spudnutz donuts today and boy, they did NOT disappoint! Friendly staff that frosted my donuts fresh, along with fresh toppings, instead of grabbing them out of the case. I highly recommend the maple bacon donut. It costs a little extra but it's totally worth it. Thank you for a great first time experience, Wyman's Spudnutz! Well be back!
